You'll won't be seeing it until MGS4 launches at the earliest. Sony has put out a patent for the white ceramic PS3 though, that'll land in a short time. But the 299 price point? yeah right.

I'm going to err on the safe side and call bullshit, but man, Sony really could be going for the homerun here if they do lower it to $299. I wonder if their deal with WB et al allowed the powers that be at Sony to green-light a price drop again to hammer the point home.
