One thing I can't seem to understand is the debate between the Sea and Fafnir thing. Believe me, if that was me as leader, I would have made y'all leave Sea to do Fafnir. Really, Sea will always be there, it won't move. You can schedule it everyone and get it done. But, Fafnir has windows and can pop first or last window, keeping him in your time or pushing it back to the JP/EU. Logic would tell you to camp the one that's can't wait for you. Not the one that'll always be there.

My LS' events are mandatory, some Sea events are canceled due to HNMs and our members are aware of that. In fact, they want us to camp it.

Personally, I never liked the way Kings were setup; it's a colossal waste of time and not even rewarding to all the participants. But hey, some of the best items are dropped by those HNMs so we're "forced" to camp it for our members, along with sky/sea/einherjar/etc.

Yeah sea was always being tossed aside for other things.. and no one really gave a fuck about it. That day they got butt hurt for no reason like if they wanted to farm IxDrk for 8 hrs

I dont think it was really about Fafnir. Meara just wanted out and she saw the chance and took it. It wasnt the right way to do it but w.e this is the result of her actions

We also have a few members with experiences with Calais and Meara and they were all positive experiences... Meara has been warned in advance that we aren't going to be a place to cause drama and talk shit. Her "lootwhoreness" won't matter in our linkshell we are one of those "point systems" that everyone loves so much...... . . ..

That's generally how Shiva works. The shit talking crowd is loud and posts in forums, the rest of the server stays quiet and will use PM's or in-game /tells (in my case).

On topic, I've had good and bad opinions of Meara, overall though I wouldn't put her in the negative side, though just hearing everything I have I'd do my best to keep her away from leadership, lol. Good luck with her, and Calais is cool, I got staff skillups when he was charmed in besieged :D

Thread not relavent to my interests anymore. Point was, Meara was 9 times out of 10 dumb, but shes not leader anymore,so sence shes gone, Khalil will see how it does from there. that was exactly her point, one i happened to agree with as well. now the way she went about getting it across could have been better and peoples responses could have been better as well. also i'll add that those screen shots of our LS chat do not include the alliance chat as moh or who ever took them was not in our alliance, nor do they show what was said in say (meara and others were in another zone)

for the person who asked when this happened (i lost track of that post) it was like march 30th or so. 2 days before the monday season opener of the 2007 baseball season.

Not interested in the particulars of this situation, but this does highlight what I find to be the single greatest character flaw I've encountered in people. "They made me angry, so I hit them/broke LS/flipped out on vent. See? They MADE me angry, I'm not responsible for my actions, its THEIR fault." The instant you let others take responsibility for your choices is the instant you've forfeited your right to be considered a person.

however there is a flip side where the other person is also responsible for thier actions as well. such as making somone more angry on purpose and then bitching when you get smacked. if you fuck with the bull you get the horns. you can't just walk up to somone insult them, talk shit, put them down, ect... and then when you get punched in the face blame the other person and wash your own hands clean. don't pick a fight if you can't handle the heat.
