FF13 is obviously the new mainstream FF, Versus is more of a Kingdom Hearts-esque gameplay type taking place in the same realm, but totally different stories.
Both will be on the PS3.

This game alone will skyrocket PS3 sales...I havent talked to a single person who even remotely liked the FF series that hasnt guaranteed a PS3 purchase because of this game. ( I can count 3 purchases just in my family alone (out of 6 people) This game will have to tank HARD review wise to do anything but quadruple the amount of PS3's out on the market now. (possible slight exaggeration) makes you wonder why this game hasn't come out earlier.
This is what next-gen is ALL about baby.
