It's probably just coincidentl. It's too hard to say from such a small sample size.

Well I did it once on earthday and one of the Scorps resisted (sleep lasted less) an ElementalSeal SleepgaII.
Granted my BLM partner was gimper than me but still >.>;
If you're going to solo, I don't see a reason to go any day but lightningday. You don't need any meds unless something resists; only manafont. Of course bring meds incase you have a snafu, but you should only need to use 5 nukes, maybe 4 and a lower-tier ga to finish. You'll probably need 6 nukes duo if you synch, because of the resistance patch, but if you take turns nuking it'll only take 4-5.
If you really don't want to go in with six people, just bring a single PLD friend and do it. Duo PLD and RDM doesn't need Aegis, or Excalibur, or even any meds - just Refresh, Phalanx II, DoTs and debuffs (only on the one the PLD is currently fighting, so the RDM doesn't get hate on everything), and a little bit of light back-up curing.
Carby pull doesn't work in any BCs.
1) BC mobs link with their fellows anywhere in the zone. As an example, when supertanking Divine Might, if the holding team goes down and the fighting team back at the entrance is still fighting, the other AAs go back and wipe everyone. If the fighting team has already defeated the last AA they pulled, the other AAs deaggro.
2) When a pet dies/is released, any aggroed BC mobs with no actual hate on anyone will attack the master, anywhere in the zone. So SMN/DRG/BST/PUP aren't allowed to use pets when supertanking Divine Might.
I think BC mobs also link instantly if they run out of targets, without the usual ~10 sec wait, but I'm not sure about that one.
