Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Installation Issues.

So I downloaded version 1.06 off nintendo's site, installation goes fine until the very end, where I get this error:

After clicking OK I get an application error and the only option is to close it. It's obviously in already, since I can't even start installation without it. I've tried taking it out and putting it in again, and just leaving it in. I've also tried using every USB port on my PC, didn't help. Is anyone aware of a way around this?

Are you using Vista, or is that just a skin? Im not sure if they USB WiFi adaptor is Vista OKd or not. I cant really think of anything to suggest since im not familiar with the adaptor (if you plug it in, can you go to Computer and try to open it like a normal usb drive?), so if no one else gives you any ideas, I think Nintendo has a free helpline to get users connected with Wii.

Re: Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Installation Issues.

The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector has had several issues with many computers b4. Its a known problem that Nintendo continues to ignore. If you checked their DS Wi-Fi forums you'll probably find many, many, MANY threads about this issue. I myself had the same issue b4 i said fuck it and got a wireless router. Its a really weird issue since I've tried installing in on 3 different computers on different networks and it only seemed to work on the comp i least expected it to work on(my grandmas lol).

Anyways, have you tried enabling ICS on your comp? Sometimes that solves the issue(since the USB connector creates a network connection). If that doesn't help, check
    here.
