There's a PC port of DMC3:SE, but I've no idea on the quality of the port/control mapping.
(probably unplayable without a PS2-style gamepad hooked-up)

I've not actually beaten DMC3 yet, stuck at this one boss who's this floating gal that kicks my ass (level 8?); I recalled farming older levels for orbs to upgrade my stuff, then got a little bored and forgot about the game.

Giving away a $10 game because your service was unstable for a few days over the holidays is absolutely amazing on Microsofts part. I think 1up did the math and the actual cost to the consumer, when you consider the total time service was interrupted compared to your yearly fee was only like 98 cents, haha.

just downloaded and played this today, ahh it feels so good to play a DMC game again. I can't wait to play Dante so I can do some real combos

PS3 version is a lot cleaner and runs a bit smoother at some points that I saw on the EKS BAWKS. Me and my friend hooked up HDMI cables and played both demos. There are certain points where the 360 lags, and it's a bit jaggier.

Walmart and gamestop's website carry that pack I believe. I got mine from capcom's online store but they seem to have taken it off.

And those pictures are horrible lol... I tested both games myself last night using the same HDMI cable, 360 looks sharper but it did seem to have screen tearing here and there, hopefully it's not an issue that will appear in the final version though. The PS3 version is a LOT brighter (as most PS3 games are), but the sharpness of the finer details certainly goes to the 360 (not that you'll notice it unless you freeze the game and take a close look, but still.)

Overall, they're practically identical, even down to the controls' mapping, if you have both consoles buy it for your controller of choice.

heh I just thought the quality was bleh, it's hard to really tell which version looks better with them.

But even though I honestly didn't see those jaggy lines when I played the 360 version, they might've been there... just shows you that it doesn't really matter which version you pick up, when you're actually playing it's the same.

And what's your problem with Nomura? >.>

the real question is which Dante will be in 4? cocky smack talking #1 and 3 Dante, or solemn serious dante from 2. since the way they portrayed him in 2 wasnt liked by the vast majority of dmc fans, they may just act like #2 never existed.

also..

A collector's edition of the game will be released at the same time. The American version will include a DVD of four episodes of the American dub of the anime amongst other extras, whilst the UK version will include a signed artbook named 'Art of the Devil'.
