how do you tell your LS they fail at merit parties?

I've been in a social only shell for the last year and a half (not in the whole endgame bid) Most of our members do Sky, but none are with the whole HNM business. They don't ask often, but when they do, I just outright tell them "no." I'm the ONLY Brd in the shell, everyone for the most part has two or more jobs at 75..most just happen to be Pld/Smn/Whm/Blu's/Drk's.

Most aren't blinged out, some have questionable gear choices (Domaru Sam's) but I never bring it up, because mostly all of them are good people.

It's not hard, if you can't say "no" just make up some bullshit about how tiring Brd is in a merit party or fake afk.

Just say you're not interested in meriting and you're farming/skilling up or something if you don't want to leave the LS...

I actually have a case where an LS member REFUSES to party with anyone else in the linkshell if the party doesn't break 20k/hour. Then again, our leader is pretty cool about different perspectives...
