Dancer sub changes?

I leveled DNC to sub on NIN for solo things, and its been treating me well. However, I was under the impression that Dancer as a sub was only supposed to give one finishing move. So tonight, I'm duoing WAR AF3 with my wife, and I decide to start stacking Box Step for some DEF down... when I noticed that I was getting more than one finishing move. Decided to pop Animated Flourish (the THF mob seemed to like her a lot), and it consumed two, as it would if DNC was main.

I zoned off the moves, and tested again on Qufim mobs, and found the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this? Was it in some mysterious update that never happened? Attaching a pic as proof (forgive the crappy res, not playing on my usual PC).

1 move per step if subbed, 2 moves per step if main. Max 5 whether main or subbed. Always been this way.

Then I'd like to know why the hell my brain is working under the assumption that you could only store one finishing move if DNC was subbed. Oh well.

No one can asnwer why you don't understand the basic concept of DNC as a sub.
In addition, the amount of finishing moves consumed when performaing something like Animated Flourish also affects the strength of that move.

That picture doesn't show anything that can tell us 'steps on /DNC gives 2 FM per step'
It's either glitch or you didn't pay attention
