Anyone for some Crysis?

1. Maxed out for me is "High" save some adjustments for very high hacks.
2. SLI doesn't work for crysis very well
3. 3 way SLI doesn't work for crysis
4. I've optimized the shit out of my computer and I'm not as dumb as you think I am.
5. The shit you posted is old beyond belief, and the game has been well patched past that.
6. stfu and stop being a whiny little bitch because you couldn't get 40fps.

It just pisses me off when people exaggerate their FPS or benchmarks. SLI works with crysis after the patch. TriSLI does work with crysis. I never said you were dumb, just a blowhard. The shit I posted was the first result on google, I didn't really look at it. That being said, there is no way you average 40 FPS on High with a 8800GTS 320.

Lastly, my system is better than yours and I can get close to 40 on high.

Truth be told that if you wanted to "max" out everything in the ini's you'd be lagging graphics cards for the next 6 years.

AA is completely personal preference in my opinion. Normally I play games with x2, could I do that with crysis? probably, could I justify my 40fps? maybe, maybe not.
SLI still only gets you maybe 10 fps extra if even....hardly patched....

On another note, is it even possible to enable AA with directx9 on high?

Maxed out means as high as the game will go.

You could have said "mostly high", or "high" settings and I wouldn't have given you any shit, but stating "maxed out" when you don't have the settings as high as they go is a straight up lie.

You can run up to 16x AA I believe with a single 8800. I haven't used Nvidia since I had a pair of 7600GS's in SLI

I was more pointing out the issue with AA+HDR limitation with DX9. If this is the case, I'm "maxed" as far as in game settings can go woooooooo 40fps!

That is only on X and X1 series ATI cards. DX10 can only be run on the HD2 and HD3 series of ATI cards, and only of the 8 and 9 series of Nvidia cards. You also need Vista for DX10.
