So? Making bad decisions in the past doesn't mean we need to just accept Iran selling/giving weapons to insurgents.

If they want to send weapons to our enemies I see no reason why we shouldn't find and destroy the facilities producing such weapons, even if they are located in Iran. If Bush and co. took a similar stance to Iraq and just bombed any suspected weapon facility we'd be set right now... I mean the only reason Iraq is a shit-storm is because we're out of our element. We're not a police, we're an army. If you want some shit blown up we can do it without even being detected on radar, but if you want to clear a city without destroying all of it's infrastructure that's a whole new ballgame.

I know that the Iraq-case has lost US Intelligence credibility on the matters of WMD. But Iran is a different situation entirely, they openly state that they are producing Nuclear Fuel and they have operational reactors. With nuclear-armed countries around Iran (Pakistan, India, Israel). What's stopping them from arming themselves if they have working reactors?
