Thats fucking stupid. GG ebay.
yea, completely retarded changes, already didnt like ebay selling, this just makes it worse.
Oh, but buyers can still give me negative feedback for any tiny little excuse they wanna give?
Can't leave negative or neutral for buyers???? That means positive or nothing at all.....sigh feedback is so god damn pointless.
"buyers will be more honest when they leave Feedback since they will not fear retaliatory negative Feedback."
omfg.....whoever is running ebay is retarded....
Chances are they will leave negatives for MORE retarded reasons now....
just when I was starting to seriously think about setting up an eBay store to sell regularly.
It must be a sign![]()
It doesn't make sense to me at all. They want to make sure the Sellers can't retaliate and give Neutral/Negative in response to a Neutral/Negative on them from the Buyer. So uh.. don't give Sellers a reason to retaliate?
Why even have a feedback system in place if you force the Sellers to give a positive feedback to the Buyer? Sure, it took the Buyer a month to send money but hey the Seller got paid right? If I'm selling an item, I want to be able to see who is bidding on my item and what his feedback is. Not being able to give feedback to a Buyer makes that stat absolutely pointless.
It seems to me that eBay is doing this so people aren't scared of selling items in fear of given a negative rating and having their future sales hurt in the process. Which, in turn, will give eBay more money from auction fees. But, I sense a decline in Sellers due to the new feedback system.
But again, this makes no sense to me. If I'm selling something and someone is very slow in paying, I want to be able to mention that in their feedback profile. So the next Seller will know what they are dealing with instead of being in the dark. All this change just so eBay gets more money and buyers don't get butthurt. Here's a hint eBay: Not every single buyer is a potential seller.![]()

I used to do a lot of business on ebay, but ebay/payal ALWAYS siding with the buyer, even when you have proof that they've received the item, proof that item was as described, etc. is so ridiculous. Not allowing sellers to leave neutral/negative feedback is some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard, the system was already heavily lopsided with buyers scamming sellers. The feedback system was really the only defense a seller had to protect themselves, since paypal/ebay don't give a shit. I cannot see ANY logic behind this, at all. Somebody please tell me I'm missing something here...
Funny coincidence, I still use (or used) ebay to sell some personal junk, and this lady is attempting to rip me off on a bomber jacket right now, trying to get me to ship it before the paypal payment clears, because she "needs it before valentine's day".When in reality the payment isn't clearing in the first place because it's either connected to a debit account with no/not enough money in it, or not connected to any legit CC/debit/bank account at all. I suppose I won't be able to leave bad feedback for this either?

I never leave any feedback when I buy shit.
Keep both parties feedback hidden, until both have left feedback. Zero chance for retaliation. Problem solved.
