What do you think?

... I guess I don't really have to say it, since it's just common sense,
but if you don't like death metal, just, don't even comment?

So we can ask you not to comment in future threads, and it will.....work?
Sure! if there's like a threat that's like "I like zionists, who likes them too? Guartz don't comment" I will respect the wishes.Originally Posted by Tyche
Didnt like it; the sound wasnt too great, but the vocalist sucked, bad. Sounds like he hasnt hit puberty yet and is forcing himself to sing in a low tone.
I agree with Seph, hell I thought the sound was even pretty good, but the vocalist tries too hard.
Most of that is due to really, really cheap recording. But yea, Ralph needs to work on that, lol.Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX
The only thing I really couldn't stand in it were the drums, they sounded off beat for the majority of the song, other than that I liked the guitar riffs, and yea the singer needs to polish it up but I still thought it was good.
Drums need work, other than that, for it's style; not bad.
EDIT: It's not really death metal... They are more like... What is it... Thrash? Kinda... Like a slow thrash band >_>?
It's closer to melodeath.Originally Posted by Tricen
Basically, the above. And the singer definitely needs some work also, he sounds so....forced?Originally Posted by Tricen
The narration in songs kinda makes me angry when it's written so "story" like. That could be a little overly picky though, I liked it in general.
Guy's going to throw out his voice before he /does/ hit puberty.
Honestly, it's not good, at all. In terms of like local metal shows and stuff sure they'll do fine, but are they going anywhere? Nope, unless it's to freshmen english class tomorrow at 8am at their respective high schools.
And yes, I love metal, when I was younger I played in many terrible bands, not much better than this shit.
Wow, the responses are more positive then I expected. With more practice and a bit polishing up with vocals/drums and some nifty editing I think they can pull through, locally that is.
Thanks for your feedback guys.
I guess it's not bad if you are into that kinda metal (but I can't stand that genre of metal so...)
I'll get back to listening to Face of Melinda by Opeth.
It's not terrible, it was better than I'd expect tbh. But as aforementioned, the vocalist is gonna blow his chords if he keeps that up.
Definitely not Death Metal though, I'd so closer to Doom/Melodic Death.
definitely not melodic death...
I wouldn't lump it in with bands like Soilwork, In Flames, Arch Enemy, and Into Eternity.
Melodic Death metal sound right to me...but meh, none of the metal genre is well defined. You can call it w/e you like.
The song itself wasnt bad. Narration part really felt forced, but I thought the rest was okay. If they want to be succesful, they are going to need to be a little more original with their composition tho, because everything there was done before. It's not something I would buy, but it's definitively something I could listen without cringing
I don't really recall melodic metal having chugging and basic chord progressions >_>. It's def not melodic...Originally Posted by Kaylia

Their lack of lead guitar skills also shows that it's not melodic death metal.
They should just call themselves comedy because it honestly sounds like they're making fun of scream-o.
I don't even know how you could consider this to be "death-metal". You can't even consider it "metal".
Lame.
