What's a good (free) site for drivers >_>?

Trying to update drivers on my PC and it's failing horrible trying to just do "Update driver" from device manager. I'm mainly trying to download a driver for my graphics stuff (Intel® 82915G/82910GL Express Chipset Family) but the driver from Intel's website goes to install and it says that it's not the right driver but it's the only driver that matches the name.

halp please i'm an idiot when it comes to stuff like this

Edit: Tried using this one. It lets me get to the actual installation screen but it says that one or more of the files required is missing/corrupt and the setup has to exit.

    still an idiot btw

Use windows update, or google. There is no one magical site that will have every driver, ever. So just google it.

Have you tried updating via the device manager using the download's inf file, rather than using the executable that usually gets packed with driver downloads?

Go to the original company for each driver.

For laptops, go to the maker of your laptop, and download their drivers. Often times drivers from other companies will cause problems, even if their shit is in your box. An example would be nvidia graphics in a Dell laptop. Get the drivers from Dell in this example, not from nvidia.

@mootsfox that's total bs by the way, if you want laptop video drivers for nvidia on a dell, its laptopvideo2go.com i have a dell, i have an nvidia card, i do not use dells drivers, and it works wonderfully for everything ive tried on it

but yes OEM for drivers (except in the case above)

That's cool if it works for you, I've just had so many problems with laptops, I don't want to waste my time by using drivers from somewhere else.

Are you running Vista or XP 64?
This driver says its for XP64, so if your not running that, it would be why it woudln't install.

    I recommend going here:
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default ... 2_download

It matters if your on a notebook or a desktop and also the version of operating system.
