Depending on where your from weed prices vary a lot. I'm from MT and safe to say that weed here is rather pricey. 40 dollars is pretty much the standard charge, better stuff starting at 50 and going up. There are certain towns that are either small or really shitty that are always dry and you can jack prices around like crazy. The small hick town that I'm from it wasn't unheard of to pay 60 bucks for pretty average stuff.

Anytime I go out of state it always impresses me with prices. In OR especially the prices are just crazy. Stuff you can get there, "work" you can gte for 30~40 easily, and here you pay at least 50 bucks for that kind of stuff, its ridiculous.

I've been out of the biz for a few years now (not to mention I haven't smoked weed in about 2 years), but that sounds about par for the course. 1/16th was typically $20 back when my roommates and I were dealing, unless of course it was really shitty weed on wholesale. Though, the quality (and quantity) of weed in the Northwest is generally quite good compared to alot of stuff around the rest of the country.

Going by current rough exchange rates, I'd pay $40 for an 1/8th of hydroponically grown juicy skunk weed, for something like regular hash it'd be around half that, with varying grades working up to that good $40 shit, it'd have to be something really special for an eighth to be more.

It might be a good strain of weed but I think medical marijuana is grown in a way that yields less THC than normal. So, while it'd taste, smell, and look great, it wouldn't get you high as fucUuuckK like most people want. I could be wrong, though.

Being in L.A., a lot of people get their hands on medical for recreational purposes. I've never heard anyone claim that it's not great compared to whatever pot they were smoking before. Most people swear by it.
