I would not have got number 8 in a million years btw. I just don't think of digits as having geometric properties.

bah i cant get past #10 -- i've tried thinking abt it in terms of #kid and #month (1 = 4, 2 = 6, 3 = 8, 4 -> October), wrong, then i tried thinking letters in the words, or the ascending order of the months, and "A -> J -> A" which would put it as July -- wrong...then I tried letters in the month (April = 5, June = 4, August = 6, so maybe it's -1/+2, 4th kid = 5 letter March, but wrong)...I can't get this damn one...if nothing else, i've narrowed it down to December, November, September I think....
