Google is awesome and free and is a great Rival to MS. During the time when Yahoo and Hotmail were the 2 major email providers, they offered a whopping 3 megabyte limit on email accounts, google comes in offering 1 gigabyte. Now the other ones have stepped up, but that was some serious stuntwork from google and they just keep on trucking as such, I like how they work.

They put a giant limit like that for show. How many people do you know with more than 150mb on their gmail accounts? I'm sure most people have about 10mb.

I don't know how Microsoft intends to compete with Google by purchasing Yahoo! when Yahoo! has been on a firing spree lately.

Think Microsoft would have had an interest in the takeover if Yahoo! still used Google as their search engine?


At any rate, Google ftmfw, they know how to do things right in a non-obtrusive manner.
