Oh where to start. I suppose I should open with saying he is the most annoying retard on the entire server. His infamy began years ago when he was in charge of splitting a strider boots drop and instead kept them for himself. His marvelous career took off from there. I still remember shouts of "Nighteagle's Claiming Service" when people were first discovering Mr. Argus. He's been in and out of more linkshells than anyone else I know, either because he was kicked or trying to better himself with no regard for anyone else. However, he has been eternally rejected by every end game LS on the map (see Classicred's post below).

Fast forward a bit and he is advancing himself into leadership positions in, well, beginner-intermediate linkshells is a nice way of putting it (eg. sky and a new Dynamis LS). He has them spamming Kirin and Xarcabard so he can get n.body and armlets, and somehow got them into Dragon's Aery to get him n.head because he refused to buy it (and we were charging him absurd prices because we love him so much). Don't think they ever killed Fafnir though. He also turned out to be after Mandau.. but his LS can't get him the attestation and fragment. So he asks to join my Dynamis LS.. and I'm like "lolno, pay me for it" and then he throws a bitch fit. He didn't talk to me again after I rejected his application.

Now about him as a person. He fancies himself a leader, and somehow some people actually follow him, I don't know why. He does possess a fair amount of knowledge about the game, more so than your average guy. His skill at the execution of his job is acceptable. However, he is far from amazing and anyone with any form of intellect will be annoyed within 5 minutes of dealing with him. The fact that he never stops talking doesn't help his case. He always feels he has to try and prove himself at everything, which can be seriously detrimental to an event, especially when he gives conflicting orders over well-established leaders. Pretty much everyone on Fenrir will universally agree he is extremely hard to tolerate and the only way he would be able to maintain a pearl is if everyone in the LS put him on their blacklist.

I predict he will come in here and flame me and attack me for not giving him a chance because I don't like him. There would be one thing wrong with that. because I did, against my better judgment, waste time asking my LS if they wanted him to join.. they all said no and he insisted I didn't do that. If only I had written something nice.. he might finally be off of Fenrir.. but I can't do that to someone. I have tried to be fair and only share my personal experiences instead of just inform you on his reputation, but you don't garner such a reputation by doing nothing. Every ounce of it is well-deserved, and I'm sure there are others more familiar with him that can expand on that.

My name is Nighteagle. Many people on Fenrir know me as a NM/HNM hunter. I'm just good at em i guess, but that's besides the point. I'm posting to ask to join your ls ahead of time. I have a 53THF, 37NIN, 22RNG, and 21WAR. I am on Bastok Mission 6-2, Zilart Mission 4, and PM 4-2 (Ouryu). I have a previous lvl 75NIN on seraph server. I deleted him because all my friends did a server transfer when i was on a 2month break, lost sky and HNM ls. Everything went to hell so I remade a character on Fenrir. I'm gonna tell you guys why I'm posting now instead of asking later. Gonna be a story but please read it so you understand my situation.

I've been camping Simurgh for like 3 weeks straight, maybe 1month. About 2 weeks abo it popped on 21hr mark while I was inside Crawler's Nest. When we came out, RuneBearers had claim and it was at 55%. they were about to wipe so they asked my PT for cures. I said not unless they allianced me (there were bots around and i didnt wan to lose claim if I could have gotten atleast something of the drop). So they ally, my party fully cures them and takes Simurgh down to 1% HP. Then RuneBearers disband at 1% and kill w/o my party and screws us in butthole. I was so $%^("*ing mad. So anyways, 3 days after that, my party gets claim, we didnt have enuf DD, we get Simurgh to 50% and (everyone loves what happens over time...>.>) BAM! god mode comes. we wipe, next Pt claims, they wipe, next Pt claims, they wipe. We had run it off the cliff it spawns on. we all homepointed and ran back. We claim it at 50% (it got HP regen from the pties for being unclaimed for like 15 seconds) and god mode was GONE! so we start killing it. I search area and happen to see Nael and David in area (2 F*** heads from RuneBearers.) So i invite them and was gonna boot them at 1% like they did to me. Well at 3% HP, they invite 4 ppl from RuneBearers!!!! I was like WTF?!?!. So i didnt have time to boot them after being so mad, and we got drop <33333. So anyways, between me and all o the ppl who were in PT be4 RB got there, i payed them there share. payed 10people 2mil G. (i was dead broke afterwards. I was even asking some friends to loan gil if i didnt have enough b/c this is an end game item for Thief.)

Anyways, Runebearers aren't gonna be getting anything from the drop b/c of how they screwed me over the day prvious plus inviting other ppl at 3%. I'm not saying everyone in RuneBearers is bad, b/c i have friends in it. But the ls as a whole blows!!! So tommorrow (wednesday) they said they were gonna go to the forums everywhere and start stuff up about me to where my name and my reputation would be ruined. They said I'd never get in a HNM ls, sky ls, or dynamis ls. Well, I have more friends in this ls than any other one I've looked at. Johnnye, Eragonn, i got tons in this ls that know im a GREAT guy and I would love to join you when i get high enough. I'm asking ahead of time and telling the story so people dont get the wrong impression when they read RuneBearers story.

Anyways, If you guys could think this over and get back to me, I'd really appreciate it. I realize I won't be able to accompany you on any events yet, but saving a spot for me now when I'm about to reach a low end from RuneBearers would be great. The point of a mistake is to learn from them ~ Not repeat them over and over again...The strider boot thing was your first mistake of many...Im not gonna argue or call you a terrible person but ppl do have a right to know what kind of person you can be ~

NE can be a decent person if he can keep quiet for an hour at a stretch. The problem is, he continually goes into utter douchebag mode. If he's learned his lessons, meh. Remember the CFH JOL drama? That's him.

I do have to admit, Nighteagle is a good player. That's about his own redeeming quality. He doesn't know when to keep his mouth closed and seems to only really care about #1. The Strider Boots incident, CFHing on JoL, begging people to do pickup Fafnir parties etc has allowed him to build up Fenrir's worst reputation. You could argue that all of those things are in the past and that he should be given another chance, but those are quite a few "mistakes" made over and over again. All in all he is a good player, he's just majorly lacking in people skills.

NE- Good player, for sure. Highly skilled, HQ everything. He also is a friendly guy. His reputation is abysmal, and most end-gamers do 'lol' at him, and that whole getting a pick-up party together for HNMs, that is revolutionary in theory and likey would never work well in practice.
