Alright, we only spend one night a week farming in sea, but I'll let you guys know how it turns out. I'm still a little concerned about kiting him since none of the members on my team have move+ gear. I'll fraps if I can and probably throw it up on youtube or something.

One other thing I was wondering is approximate HP of Jailer of Faith. We trioed Jailer of Fortitude 2 weeks ago and it took hours, but we went through with only 1 or 2 deaths. Was really smooth and really safe. Jailer of Faith doesn't seem to be casting as often as people are suggesting that he does. I'm not sure if this is because of our lack of movement enhancing gear, but we were getting hit with melee attacks pretty consistently. Any further input would be greatly appreciated.

Reason it would work cause of Asuran Fists would be enough to actually interupt him which idk if it works anymore is it still a possibilty to? or is it MNKs to actually survive the Stonega IV with there HP?

So with that in mind (Stonaga), would it be more efficient to just use SCH in this fight instead of WHM for a trio?

yep !

SCH will be able to do it faster, but WHM is fine and dandy for giant cure5s if shit hits the fan.

if you attack fast enough like 2 march n haste is it possible 2 interupt his casting with 2mnks? spaming asuran fists n just normal hits

I've killed it a few times with this setup:

MNK/NIN (me)
BRD
BRD
WHM
WHM

I didn't kite it though, I just straight tanked it. Having 2 MNKs on it with a small-man setup is an MP sink. The 2nd BRD isn't necessary. Marchx2 is really all you need out of the songs, but Madrigal and Minuet helped me bring it down quicker. It was about a 20 minute fight if I recall correctly.

If you straight tank it, it does cast a shitload of spells. Asuran fists would occasionally interrupt it's casting. Your WHMs will HAVE to be on top of Stona and Erasing slow and recasting haste ASAP. If they don't, you will die. Recasting Utsusemi: Ni with JoF's slow on will give you around a 1-minute recast, even with +25% gear haste and double march.

I don't know how well this would work if I wasn't a Galka. Morning glory with counterstance on will hit you for up to 1600 damage, usually less. You'll also have to bring poison potions, echo drops, and I believe eye drops from JoF's TP spam from meleeing it.

Definitely not the most practical setup, but that was by far the most challenging mob that I have successfully blink tanked. Too bad I went 0/3 on the torques.. but I eventually got one.
