Well after watching the final trailer for this movie, I've gotta see it now, looks like it's gonna be good.

I'm gonna see it, but I'm going in pretty much completely disavowing any relationship to the comic.

Aside from the most basic concept of the comic (20 something nobody becoming a complete badass) and the scene of Wesley shooting the wings off the flies, there's pretty much no relationship between the two besides the title.

And yes, there is no way in hell they could do a straight comic > movie translation of the original story and have a prayer in hell of it even going into theaters. It was so obscenely violent and just downright disgusting in someplaces that it wouldn't work for most theaters out there. I think the main thing that disappoints me is that Shithead won't be in the movie ):

While I have no complaints with the actors they have in the lead roles, it's a shame they couldn't get Eminem/Halle Berry/Tommy Lee Jones in the lead roles like their comic book versions were based off of.

I really hate angelina.... but I do like morgan freeman... I doubt I'll go see it in theaters but I might at least download it after it comes out.

This is exactly how I feel. Morgan Freeman is cool, but I can't bring myself to spend eight bucks on something with Angelina Jolie in it.

Seeing this Friday and I cannot FUCKING WAIT. Look up the Russian Red Band Wanted trailer, it's so much better than the U.S. trailer.

A coworker saw this at a screening last night and said it's hands down the best action movie of the summer, if not the year, and it was better than Iron Man. That's saying ALOT imo, and it just makes me more pumped to see it. Can't waaaaaaaaittttt!!!!

The previews I've seen made it look like a complete and total piece of shit, but it has a tomatometer aggregate of 85% (35 reviews so far) and apparently it's a completely over-the-top violent action-fest.

So...I might see it, and since I'll still be going in expecting it to be a complete piece of shit, I might just enjoy it too.

Just got back, I enjoyed this movie a lot. In all honesty I think its a better movie then iron man, just the kid in me makes me like iron man more.
Definately worth the watch

If they kept the stupid plot-twist of the comics without having Mr. Rictus.. oh god, that's just terrible. WANTED was basically a matrix rip-off with a cool setting and stupid evilness, but they took out the setting and stupid evilness(assuming Rictus isn't in it).
