    Re: WANTED (The Movie)

It's fun, but it's definitely not the comic. Wesley and The Fox are the only characters who are present, and Fox really isn't anything like the comic version. Leave your brain at the door, the plot is honestly really dumb and rather predictable. Go in expecting a big dumb action movie with really cool action scenes, and you won't be disappointed. The entire superhero/supervillian thing is out (they're basically super powered assassins), and all of the over lying humor/sarcasm directed at the comic industry isn't in there.

The things that I missed the most out of the comic,

    A) No scene of him beating the crap out of all the gangsters outside his apartment
    B) The last line of the comic.

Also, for those who have read the comic and see this, there's a subtle reference to JG Jones and Mark Millar you can tag towards the end of the movie in the scene in the office.

BRP, if you want your spoiler (I.E. NO CLICKY unless you want the entire plot spoiled)

[spoiler:25yfy23l]Morgan Freeman's character is the ultimate villian, along with basically the entire Fraternity[/spoiler:25yfy23l]

    Edit Again :

If you're looking for the comic, alot of bookstores that usually sell comics (Waldenbook, Hastings, etc) have been carrying the Graphic novel since the previews started going out.

    And, there's always Amazon

I loved the move and cant wait to buy it on blu ray. Honestly found nothing dumb about it, and I never read the comics, but to each his own, another great job by Morgan Freeman.

Or you just pirate it and not give your money to dirty Millar

4chan's rs section, search "WANTED" and it'll be there. Or google it.

What's wrong with Mark Millar? Aside from the universally craptactic ending to Civil War, I love almost all his work.

    Re: WANTED (The Movie)

It was good for an action movie, however, the fact I'm associate with two friends who are in the military, my father being ex-military, and actually shooting guns, kinda makes me angry. Plot twist wasn't what I expected, and fuck some of the shit that happened, that didn't need to.

[spoiler:3q0g780f]Needs more of angie naked, less of her 360 bullet killing herself.[/spoiler:3q0g780f]

    Re: WANTED (The Movie)

I'm sorry but everyone who saw it seriously didn't see the plot twist coming from like 60 miles away?

I figured it out in the very first scene with Fox.

[spoiler:1jmc6xzg]Cross was shooting at the Fox, not Wesley, and I thought it was really obvious. If he's such a highly trained killer he wouldn't be aiming for the person standing next to his target, especially when said target is just a kid and the Fox is obviously a trained killer. The later scene where Wesley chases him through town and he doesn't kill him also made it very obvious.[/spoiler:1jmc6xzg]

After the loom thing, yes, but not early on, as I was more interested in his anxiety attacks after seeing the guy blown off the roof of the building.

Yeah this wasn't better than Iron Man by any means, but it was still entertaining. I thought all of the car scenes were really really cool, and holy SHIT was Angelina fucking gorgeous.

    Re: WANTED (The Movie)

It was a good movie, similiar to Shoot em' up which is why I think its enjoyable if you like well done scenes. Imo the plot doesn't get too predictable until after certain things happen. Its just easy to put the pieces together. And yeah, Angelina was pretty hot lol.

I really didn't understand the obsession they had with curving bullets, since that was never a part of the comic.

    Re: WANTED (The Movie)

Simply a director's choice probably. It didn't seem in anyway related to the comic. Just a sort of adaptation of characters and situations I guess. Same way shoot em up had a thing for killing people with carrots.

I wouldn't care if he ate babies and set puppies on fire.
