    Promy-Vhazl NMs

So I helped my g/f and some of our LS nooblets through the first 3 promies this weekend, on the way up Holla someone agged the Cerberator or w/e NM, and I got the trigger for the Vhazl NM that drops that stupidly overpowered Lv. 30 Bow...just wondering, is the Vhazl NM something that could be taken down easily with 1 party when I eventually run this group through there, or will I need to arrange a run with more than 1 party in order to take it down without much danger?

And I suppose the same question goes for the Stone Gorget one, as I'm going to try to get a Satiator Remnant by the time they get to level 50 and CoP 5-2.

    Re: Promy-Vhazl NMs

Hi, sorry for late reply, I've only just signed up to this forum and found your post.

Its interesting to see a lack of replies here, this kind of NM is a semi-regular favourite of my LS. We do CoP30 ENM runs every sunday (we do all 3 towers for 9k XP). If the 3rd floor NM is up we always kill it and spread around the pop item until we have enough to make a Vahzl run. We have at least 5 of these bows now in the LS, they are awesome for CoP30 areas, and can be used on jobs that normally don't have a bow at lvl 30 (PLD for example), so useful if you need a pulling device.

The Vahzl pop NMs are not too hard as long as you follow a few bits of advice. The 3rd floor one for the Bow can be troublesome with its -ga spells, but can be brought down with a balanced 6 member party. Important thing for this NM is to have a stunner or two in party. We usually have a BLU, and SAM uses his stun TP move, sleep sometimes sticks too for ghetto stunning backup. I have stunned him a few times with a sleep bolt. If he doesn't get more than 1 -ga spell off you're golden, he's easy. We normally camp over by the floor-down warper and pop-pull the NM over to there.

The 4th and 5th floor ones (Dia Wand and Stone Gorget) don't do the -ga spells, but I would have a hystero and psycho anima around just to keep them tame on their TP moves. You won't normally need them but I like to be prepared.

For all 3 NMs take some time to clear any nearby mobs so they don't aggro you while fighting the NM, or during your run back to camp after popping the NM.

If you are taking 6 ppl into Vahzl, get them all to flag up the ENM quest also, its worth a crack and is an easy ENM for 3k XP.

    Re: Promy-Vhazl NMs

I recently went after the Bow NM myself (had the pop item for over a year) and its a rather straight forward fight. We had more of a hassle with the wandering craver/thinker/gorger then the NM itself.

Stunner + anima makes the fight easy.

I cannot comment on the 4th/5th floor fights.
