Whats everyone doing for their significant others?
Yes this is a shameless thread to get some ideas![]()
I'm taking my girl to a really nice Italian place, sadly they're all booked for the 14th...Would a girl really care that you go out on the 15th?

She's gonna kill you.
Definitely.
Majority: No. Few select special ones: Yes, they don't care about the date, just appreciate the gesture.Originally Posted by Seraphise

The usual dinner at a nice place and flowers delivered to her work. I got her tickets to the Lion King though for Xmas and it is V-day weekend. Convenient.
Buy a sexy lingerie set including thigh high stockings. Thats all I want from my gf.Originally Posted by Lexa

But yeah...

It involves the word blow, but has very little to do with actual blowing, and usually nothing to do with leaf blowers.I've been trying to think of something to do for my guy, but am drawing a blank so far.
She's gonna tell you it doesn't matter, but it really will, then in 5 months when you guys start arguing she'll bring it up and throw it back in your face.
How about ideas for those of us who don't really have anyone close, but wouldn't mind giving a friendly gesture to a friend?
(and not the kind of ideas that insinuate you either want to get laid or get into a relationship)
If its a fairly new relationship like under 1-2 years, better have an alternate plan for the 14th and not the 15th no matter what she may say.Doesn't -have- to be the traditional dinner date. Think of something shes been wanting to do or maybe theres somewhere shes been wanting to go/see that you could surprise her with. Be creative. Traditional is cute but your creativity will make it even more memorable.
St. Consumer Whore Day.
I'm getting her flowers. ._.

I'm getting mine Stardust and Across the Universe DVDs. Iono, I hate this day makes everything so damned cliche. When I do something for my chick, I want it to be because I want to, not because I feel forced to. But yea, I'ma do at least something... Sure call me a pussy, but, shit, I like getting pussy >.>a

I thought these were a neat idea, especially if she's kinda into games like a lot of girls that BG people may be with. I got them for my "I-wish-I-were-dating-you" friend, and she's into games, so she'll hopefully think they're cool either way.
Its been a few months is all, i'm looking for something to do for the 14th but i'm drawing a blank. Shes obsessed with theater but their is no good plays coming to colorado this year =/Originally Posted by hensi
we're only 18 so its not like something drastic needs to be done but any ideas?
I convinced my girlfriend that valentine's day doesn't mean anything somehow.
for theater just find a good theater house with good actors, they'll turn most plays into atleast enjoyable. Things don't haveto be greatOriginally Posted by Seraphise
Agreed, even if it's bad, you guys will be doing it together, and can joke on how horrible it was. I think she'll appreciate the fact that you did something in her interests and didn't just get some cheesy heart shaped box of chocolates. Smells like brownie points to me.Originally Posted by Vail

I have a friend who I want to be dating and been debating if I should do anything for her or not... We can't do anything on Valentine's Day, since we both work at a restaurant and have to work that day, but was thinking of surprising her with something... but not sure if its appropriate. Any thoughts?Originally Posted by Roranora
I did that for Christmas. Plus I need to pull a $25,000 tuition fee out of my ass by August - I don't gots cash to waste on more lingerie. :/ The pretty stuff is so f'in expensive!Originally Posted by Andarvi
