I'm taking my girl to a really nice Italian place, sadly they're all booked for the 14th...Would a girl really care that you go out on the 15th?

If its a fairly new relationship like under 1-2 years, better have an alternate plan for the 14th and not the 15th no matter what she may say. Doesn't -have- to be the traditional dinner date. Think of something shes been wanting to do or maybe theres somewhere shes been wanting to go/see that you could surprise her with. Be creative. Traditional is cute but your creativity will make it even more memorable.

I thought these were a neat idea, especially if she's kinda into games like a lot of girls that BG people may be with. I got them for my "I-wish-I-were-dating-you" friend, and she's into games, so she'll hopefully think they're cool either way.

Agreed, even if it's bad, you guys will be doing it together, and can joke on how horrible it was. I think she'll appreciate the fact that you did something in her interests and didn't just get some cheesy heart shaped box of chocolates. Smells like brownie points to me.

I have a friend who I want to be dating and been debating if I should do anything for her or not... We can't do anything on Valentine's Day, since we both work at a restaurant and have to work that day, but was thinking of surprising her with something... but not sure if its appropriate. I did that for Christmas. Plus I need to pull a $25,000 tuition fee out of my ass by August - I don't gots cash to waste on more lingerie. :/ The pretty stuff is so f'in expensive!
