Disconnect Issue

A bunch of us DC/ed 2-3 times before entering Salvage.

One guy constantly DC/ed for the entire Salvage run.

East Coast, NC - Time Warner Cable for me.
I know one guy is in Ohio, Comcast I believe.

The odd thing is that a good friend who lives less than 5 miles away, same service, never DC/ed at all.

as I was reading this right now, I checked my screen and d/c'd x.x oddly enough lol. That's the 2nd time for now I d/c'd without seeing the 0%, simply logged off.

My friend had the same problem last night. When he tried to log back in he got a "You have no Conent ID's" message and could not get back on for almost 2 hours.

4 people in my linkshell had synced d/cs yesterday(as in, we each d/ced 3 times over about a 6 hour period but all 4 of us d/ced the exact same time each occurance), and 3 PC players were continually d/cing at Ix'DRK as well. GM call said it was a known issue and they were looking into it

All the UK members of my LS disconnected at once at one point earlier this evening and were unable to get back on for about 5-10 mins ... kept getting POL-0011 or whatever it is.

Yea me and a few of my LS mates started getting the R0'd repeatedly today starting right after a LS event so around 6:15pm EST. keep getting R0's connection pops back up for 30secs and repeats, then it'll completely d/c after awhile.

I did notice that one of the other people this was happening to is from Canada as am myself not sure if this is something based on ISP or reigonal or whatnot ><

Guess i'll try again tommorow

Pretty much my situation exactly, and I too am in Canada (Vancouver area). Like you, I hope this will be gone when I wake up tomorrow =u.

Same issue. Sporadic disconnects all throughout today the 13th. Canada AB.

Friend of mine in Vancouver, Canada was having connection issues as well; spent most of the night R0ing.

I've been having DC issues since yesterday evening.

When the DC occured I could for about a minute see what everyone else was doing in the chatlog, read their chat etc. but they couldn't see anyone I typed, nor was I able to cast or do any actions in game. I tried to reinstall the game but now when I'm trying to update, POL keeps throwing me out every 8-9min saying I lost connection with the server. After that I can log back in right away so it's not that my connection goes down per se but it just throws me out. Everything else besides POL works.

Anyone having anything similar?

Issue seems to have resolved itself overnight for me anyway. This was the "minute of normal, then minute of R0, rinse repeat" syndrome.

yeah yesterday night i was having same problems, R0's constantely but FFXI was the only thing that was affected, i dont have a telus IP, Edmonton Alberta area here. I even turned off my firewall and disconnected my router to see if that was the problem and it didnt fix a thing. But everything is fine now.
