I agree. For the last six months to a year his once a month (if we're lucky) comics have been of pretty lackluster quality from what he did back in 2006.

A) IMO it was never that great
B) The kirbies

Feels like to me the artist has moved on from the comic and only updates when he feels like/feels like he needs to.

He's getting by on the leftover popularity of that FFXI strip he did a few years ago. That might explain VG cats' popularity on a FFXI forum.
