And the Republican campaign battle is...over.
McCain vs. ??? for 2008!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
What about huckabee?
huckabee is already out. amirite?
Good question... as someone put it on DailyKos, it's down to the Fart vs. the Freak.Originally Posted by Neosutra

Huckabee won't beat McCain lol.. Republican race is over.
.. and suddenly a bottle of oxycontin pills was heard rattling in the background on Rush Limbaugh's show...Originally Posted by Exoduso

Even with Romney's delegates he won't beat him.
Now a (D) is gonna win. Woman or African American the chose is yours!
I really don't think either one of them can beat McCain by themselves... now, a Clinton/Obama ticket is a whole different discussion.
Vote for Obama!
Thank god for huckabee not winning, pun not intended. Ever since his Christmas ad he ran I figured the man was a total and utter joke. (more so then I already did)
Really fucking hope obama takes the democrat nomination. I hate Hilary :<. Apparently the only good thing she is good at is not sucking her mans dick. Anyone who cant suck a dick once and awhile is not fit to be president imho.
Should I ask what that means you think about Obama?Originally Posted by senoska

Or at least I hope so.
In order to be president, you need to know how to suck a mean dick.
I've always liked McCain (from my brief exposure to him). I certainly think things would have been vastly different had he gotten the republican nod in 2000.
I think between Obama (if he gets it) and McCain, either choice will likely be alright in the long run.
Personally hope Hilary doesn't get the nod, we don't need Clinton round 2.
Just. Don't. Vote.Originally Posted by Tulun
Wow, really taken by surprise. Just two days ago he was saying "The only thing that's clear is that this campaign is going on!" Doesn't really change the landscape of the election though; even if he dumps his delegates to Huckabee, it's all over on the Republican side. Just to spice things up, Huckabee and Romney should both drop out and endorse Paul, lol.
Nothing like going back to the tried-and-true Bush playbook by referring to the Democrats as terrorist sympathizers, eh Mittens?"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror."
Pretty unsurprising after his Super Tuesday performance, and hes not an attractive veep possibility. I think this is the end of Romney in national politics.
