PS2 Users Connection Problems @ Ix'aern DRG?

I'm on PS2 and regularly in the Ix'Drg party. I never have any issues, nor do I filter effects. Then again, we generally do Ix'Drg with 3-6 BLM out of parties and a teleporter so lag really isn't an issue.

I do know a lot of PS2ers on my server who R0 in the gardens though.

There was a update a very long time ago relating to Aerns and their bracelets. from what I understand they used to show what job they were before you pulled them. Anyway, they dumbed the graphics down across the board solely because of PS2 performance.

I wanted to get those dats back, as someone had backed them up beforehand, but I had no luck in a thread I made some time ago.

Aerns always hid their job iirc, all SE did to the aern graphics (that's humanly noticable at any rate) is having the bracelets not rotate in upon itself around their arms.

On another note, I'm believing it's the area in general that appears to break the PS2 (taking more memory than a zone area should? Unsure how that's possible considering the zone is just cut&paste of the same 5 rooms, but again, this is SE we're talking about). I've had people in my LS D/C during a Faith run, as to which there were no aern in that location.

Old bug, been around for a while, SE most likely won't fix til end of this year. (Suprised they fixed the Whitegate NPC Connection Loss before this.)

Has been a while since I have done Ix'Drg, but it never fails, I always end up d/cing a few times every Drg run. Only at Ix'Drg for me, I havn't experienced abrupt dcing anywhere else.

never happens in our ls and all i have to say is LUL for still meleeing and straight tanking ix'drg when you could alot more productive farming if u send all ur melee after temperance and give ix'drg to 3 blms and a rdm or even two blms and a rdm.
