No its not fair but we have to protect ourselves from people who are ready and willing to steal from us.

Your linkshell doesnt really have to deal with this since you can cheat for any gear your people want. Nothing is really special for you. I am not attacking your linkshell just pointing out how your point of view is differant. Speedbelt may not seem like a big deal to a linkshell that rots landking loot since noone can outclaim you, but it is a big deal to us.
Who in their right mind would do a LS KS99 run if they cant keep the belt for themselves? They earned their seals and u took 12 minutes of your day to kill their NM.

You're attacking someone, because you can't really compare landking loot (R/E) and a BC drop(R). You are basically forcing your members to pay the LS for it's help. You have to collect the 99 seals to enter the BC and the rest is a cakewalk. If you are struggling to win the Wyrm BC then something is far more wrong than someone making off with a speed belt from their seals.

It's your shell so you guys can do what you please. I just dont understand how your members accept something like that. Why should members trust a LS that can't trust its members?

    Re: [Ifrit] Giglamesh

He knew the rules and could have used the seals on KS30. Its not like we took 100% of belt, he was still getting the lions share of the money. KS99 is a linkshell event to get our monks blackbelt items since landkings arent an option due to our refusal to bot. Everyone in linkshell knows this. Giglamesh knew this. Money loot was not our primary purpose of doing KS99s, our stance is if you want money from seals do KS30 and dont waste linkshell time. The 25% was to pay for linkshell members effort and the money went towards paying for limbus or other events (we have a detailed list of money on our private section to avoid thievery). We do the same thing for uncapped Ouryu.

We cant trust some of our members because we have a history of people jacking us for items then leaving, if you want a list of every person who has done this I can post it.

I compaired speedbelt with landking loot trying to make an analogy and appently I failed. I was trying to demonstrate how botting linkshells have much greater chance of getting their members great items than non-botting ones. We do every event that we can to make people happy and we are still backstabbed no matter how much we try to avoid it. Speedbelt is one of the best items that we are able to get. If there is an item that botting linkshells have trouble getting, substitute that with the word "landking gear" and thats the point I am trying to get across.

I didnt know gearing someone to be a better member and making bigger fights run a little smoother constitutes "wasting linkshell time". And effort? What effort? Do you pay members to merit and farm sky too? Cause that requires just as much if not less effort, if you would even call it that.

Actually we do pay people for farming sky, they get paid with the money loot that drops from the sky gods.

Ok I figured out something somewhat compatable to get my point across to LM17 people posting here. How did you guys feel what that person took heralds gaiters and jumped server a while back? He/she is your equivalent to Giglamesh and us. Speedbelt is like heralds gaiters to us. Now I know that KS99 and Tiamat are completely differant things, but both require linkshell help to beat.

no way does that compare, u EARN seals to do KS99, no LS reserves the right to call a speed belt from someones orb a linkshell item

Damn I agree with mafai. Why do KS99 if you can't keep the belt. He'd be better off spamming yoyd KS30s.

    Re: [Ifrit] Giglamesh

Like I said earlier, it was in the linkshell rules and giglamesh agreed to them before the belt dropped. If he wanted money from his seals he could have instead done KS30 with random people. KS99 is an event to get our monks blackbelt items. Though it is a chance for people to make some money if they want to use orbs for it, that is not the primary goal. We do not force people to do KS99 if they do not want to. Its not like we hold seals and dont let you use them on whatever you want. But if you want linkshell help with doing a KS99, you have to agree to our rules.

That is the essence of my posts, if he did not like the rules he did not have to go with us. The rules were in place to benefit the linkshell more than the individual.

The main point that any linkshell on pandemonium should get out of this is that giglamesh plays by no rules. He will act like a loyal member and follow all the rules. But when he sees an opportunity he will just act like the rules do not apply. Regardless of if you agree with our rules for KS99 or not, he cannot be trusted to honor any agreement.

Ramsos, take Decimus' privates out of your mouth... the end. Wow, you're in SPQR are you, who would have guessed. Notice how after Decimus started to get ripped into, he vanished... and another minion came on the scene? Your attempt to provoke was nice tho (but i feel no need to defend).

Ramsos: I play the RL card in Attack Mode!
Ramsos: Bwahaha! Internet! I have you trapped now! You'll never save your grandfather, my skills are far too great!
Internet: No! Not that! Oh what do I do now, he played the RL card guys!

As much as I hate their rules, Ramsos has a point. He joined the LS in question knowing the rules and had to abide it if he wanted in. Once he got in, he follows the rules. If you think their rules are shit, don't join them, it's quite simple.

Do you blame him? With rules like that I'd just up and leave too. From what I can tell, those rules dont promote loyalty. They encompass resentment and remorse.
Exactly. I hate LS's with these kind of fail rules and having to come on here to tarnish someone's reputation.
    Fail rules = Fail LS
If he ever applies to my LS, I'll gladly take him with open arms and pimp his PLD or w/e job out just to piss you off even more.

Cry me a river. You can go away now.

    Re: [Ifrit] Giglamesh

Maybe I'm missing something but you keep stating, "we don't do KS99 to get rich, if you want gil go do KS30's".

So did Gilgamesh sell the speedbelt after he left the LS or did he keep it? Cause if he kept it them it seems as if he fell within your guidelines of not doing the KS99 to get rich but just to better his jobs.
