SE's new MMO is a myth, and there prolly isn't one. I know there have been little bit's of info every blue moon from a rep saying they are working on a new MMO, but its been at least 2 years since that "first" supposed announcement and not even any new info/SS/anything to show for it? I don't care if they are worried about FFXI sub's canceling at the sound of a new MMO becoming a reality, there is no reason to not show the public any progress on a new MMO if it was treuly in development & not in the scrap bin.

Well I work for SOE. I know that the GMs for FFXI are not run by SOE anymore, and havent since a year after the game was released. They took the GMs in house then. The people you call etc, I dont know about that part.

SE isn't the kind of company that will do a complete rennovation of how they do things from what I have seen.

Unless they are sleeping with blizzard employees I don't think anything will change as far as customer service will go.

i played in the closed beta. it was unique but gamercampus(the people in charge of NA concerto) fail and hadn't even implemented the lvl 10 job quest so everybody was a novice.

I won't ever play another SE mmo because of how they handled FFXI. I don't care how great of a game the next MMO they make is, I won't touch it. I will stick with MMO's that have english speaking developers with official forums for the game.

When you wipe to Kil'jaeden you only lose 15minutes of time, when you wipe to Pandemonium Warden, you lose 18 hours of time! WoW > FFXI! I think I started it off well!

I personally don't think I could take an SE MMO unless they pretty much come out and say "We really fucked up a lot of things when we created FFXI that we were unable to go back and change. We learned from these mistakes and did it right this time." But I don't see them admitting such big errors, ever.

Well, let's just say FFXI has the stuff I want from MMO's in general, too bad it's not as good as it could be but I don't see any other similar MMO around, and I doubt there's one in the making either so :/
