So I'm going on Wednesday. Still having some slight problems with power conversion.... If anyone knows anything about power in general your help would be much appreciated. Currently I have one 1600w converter for a PS2 and a macbook. I'm thinking the Macbook's plug is able to handle itself, but some online sources say there's issues with melting plugs

Anyone have same experience to support or against this claim?
Is a 1600w converter good for a PS2? That type is usually for things like irons and hair dryers, and aren't meant to be used for long periods of time for those particular devices. However with only a PS2 is it safe to use it for prolonged periods of time? Maybe gaming sessions of 6 hrs here and there, because I heard from a coworker that it's hard for us to get around and there's nothing to watch on TV
On a side note, did ya know that you actually have to pay for radio stuff over there? I don't know the details myself, but that's what the coworker who went there first told me.
