Newer things to skill up on 88+ (Clothcraft)

I tried to search but it's not letting me, but I've been stuck at 88 for like 2 yrs because I refuse to skill up on Plumes, is there anything better nowadays, been awhile since I even though about starting back up.

Use wamoura silk -> wamoura cloth until 90. That's as much as I can tell you.

How about you take that 75 THF of your and go farm some plumes. That's how I did 89-92... farmed 5 hrs a day for about 3 weeks. But it was free skillups, and I made gil from the feathers.

I'm sorry, but these people are right - if you can't take time to farm your own plumes when you don't want to buy them, then you don't deserve to get any higher than 88-90.

I mean seriously... I spent 6 hours a day for about a week farming them but in the end I passed the stage and even made gil from it. And I only had TH1 at my side. You have at least TH3 and are complaining? Jeeze. Several thfs that were my competition during that time got about 2 stacks in the time it took me to get 6 plumes! (But then again it takes me about an hour to get a stack of beehive chips with TH1, when others get it in less than 20mins lol.)

Not to be too meme about it, but if you've literally been 88 for TWO YEARS because you won't farm some feathers you should just give up now...you aren't going to like 95+

94-100 is just... horrible lol. I've been skilling up subs to avoid it >.>

Your best bet is to either make wamoura cloth until 90, then go for g.bird fletchings until 93. A stack of plumes on Fairy runs about 60k, which sucks. I have a THF75, and I farming them in Misareaux Coast, but the drop rate just sucks. It's the cheapest route to go though. So you can try farming them, or you can farm other crap to just buy them off ah. :>

Wait til you have to cap Goldsmithing. In my opinion, getting GS from 55ish to 60 was a bigger pain in the ass(and greater loss) than CC 88-99. CC 99-100 is a different story.

Well... first off. 88-99 wasnt a huge loss for me. Farmed all my Plumes, made 2 Mahatma Slops which essentially paid for those lvls, Made Cursed Slacks for half of 94-95.. which made a few mil, Dance Shoes I had all the Mocassins on mule from LC sub, and 98-99 I brokesynth and did in 21 synths.

But GS 55-60... There are no real easy synths that I remember, and all the spammable ones are huge loss. So it was all oddball. I think I did some Hydro Claws and Mythril Cuisses to cap off, Cuisses weren't bad because I could sell to NPC for reasonable price. Was a few months ago.

I kinda did cursed mitts and blessed junk just in case of HQ and the NQ sell rate isn't too low on Remora so it's not a bad way to lvl up.

At 90+ just find the lowest lost rate imo, it's such a pain at this point in the game that either you gain a lot of gil though luck, like I have, or u lose out on a lot.

Or you lose regardless since the CC economy on the server is so shitty it's purely laughable <<;;;;;;;;

I've made a few pairs of cursed pants and some blessed gear and gotten 0 skillups on them. I've kinda been taking a break from it for now but I aim to stockpile a heap of crap over time and sit down and do a bunch of dance shoes.

Cursed mitts are a loss, cursed slacks are a slight profit but sell very slowly and far too much at stake for skillups, blessed is flushing 100k down the pan for the mitts and 60k for the pants.

/shrug I knew what I was getting into. 99-100 prolly isn't gonna happen for me, I'll just occasionally take a shot at a briault or something.

99-100 is a no return venture. lol Granted, when I did it it was far removed from the Dalm/Errant only days. But 3-400k loss per synth still hurt, and at deflation prices. However, it's idiots that make the 10 skillups such a pain.

At one point I had Briaults at a 100k PROFIT. Kept it like that for about 3 days(sold 2-3 off). Within 24 hours someone manages to drop the price back to a 300k loss.

About the briaults, those were a profit at one point? I remember this JP spamming them to get 100 and it was like 1m loss each or something.(She was sorta crazy rich)
