My account was jeaprodized on Christmas day, @ 3PM EST. I called within the hour to have it frozen, was lied to by SE rep and account was not frozen until a week later.

When did you submit your account to be investigated? How long did it take you to receive the notary form email?

I submitted my account 3 days after christmas, It took from December 28th, 2007 -> February 1st for me to get my email about the notary form.

* Please describe if your account was server transferred, what your name was changed to, did SE change you back to original server / Change name for you back to original.

My account was changed from Cerberus -> Asura. My name Omnipotent -> omglolroflgg and my mules remained with the same name. They changed me back to my original server and my name was changed back to Omnipotent within the hour of being tranferred back.

Was your account stripped? What did you have left? Rare/ex tossed?

My account was not stripped, I had every item left but 5/6 cursed caps and 3M gil I had on hand. I was unable to recover my gil or cursed caps.

Lastly, how did you feel SE reps handled, not before you got your account back, but during the process from when you called them to you logging on with your account and finally playing again.

I beleive I got lucky and I got a very nice rep. They handled it very well and were very cooperative. I asked a question I got a reponse. Gaurunteed they did take 2 monthsish to finally get my account back, but overall I am satisfied at what SE has done to help me.

Sorry I just saw this post but here you go:

My account was compromised on Mon. Dec. 3rd. I got a subpoena out to them that Friday, Dec. 7th. SE confirmed receipt of the subpoena and froze my account Dec. 11 or 12th.

I did not get the email with the form until Wednesday evening, Jan. 30th. I filled out the form and sent if via UPS priority so SE received on Friday morning. I got my All right! email to get my account back on Friday evening.

I was moved to another server, Carbuncle server, my name wasn't changed. SE did move me back the day I called them (the next Monday) and didn't charge me for the move. I had 2 mules which were deleted.

I was instructed to contact a GM regarding any missing items. I was stripped of all my money items except I did have fumas, a scorp. harness & a katana. I only had about 300k in gil. Everything else worth anything was gone. All of my rare/ex items were still there though.

I did contact a GM and they said their current policy is that they can return items that have been dropped, thrown, eaten or sold to an NPC. So they did the investigation (which lasts up to 3 days) and said they couldn't find anything (via a msg they sent me). I contacted a GM again and he said they only go back 7 days so I was escalated to a Senior GM who told me that they can go back further and that he would start another investigation after he learned my acct. had been compromised on Dec. 3rd. I got another msg 3 days later to let me know they did not find anything they could restore based on their current item restore policy.

The person that had my account also put a merit in Sange and had me in some social LS. No one on the LS seemed to know who I was or who had given me the pearl though one guy in /tell told me he thought someone in the LS must have bought my acct to farm but he didn't know who would've done that.

When I updated my mailing information on POL, they had changed the address and phone number to an Alaskan one and also changed the email. I told the SE customer service guy this and he said he was pretty sure the information was false.

As for your last question:

I called every other day and it just depended on who I got to answer if I got so upset that I would cry or so frustrated that I thought of just forgetting the whole thing. I do think they need to work on educating their reps and making their policy consistent across the board...too many "one rep said this but another rep says something completely opposite" type stuff.

It was compromised on Nov14, 07. Frozen Jan 14, 08.

It began being investigated on Jan 10, i got the notary email on Jan 30.

My account was transferred from Diabolos to Fenrir. Named Frostfire to Vex. No SE didn't change my name back, but thankfully there was already a Vex on Diabolos so I got to change it anway. My bazaar comment was changed to "Sirlagieth's main char." The info was changed to:

It was not stipped, however many of my items were missing. The person who stole my account was nice enough to get me some Homam boots and almost cap my BLM merits. I had about 1mil in gil, and for some odd reason I had 3 NQ haubs when i logged on. All my rare/ex was there

SE is such a bad company. They called me a lier when i called to say my account was stolen and it took them 3 months to return it.

Was compromised on December 2nd D: Got email saying it had been frozen on Jan 15.

I called to start investigation on Jan 10, notary form arrived on Jan 30.

Account was stripped, only a few very cheap items were left (random BRD instruments, mithkabobs on mule and such). Rare/ex seems to be all there though.

We weren't able to recover anything, didn't even try that hard anyway because I've already heard multiple times from GMs that can't recover traded/sent items etc etc

Do you mean during the retrieval process right after getting the confirmation email with the code? It took me lots of calls, all of them with the usual 30mins+ wait of course, before being able to get it released. Even with the all the info I got some very rude reps (one of them particularly kept insisting that he didn't understand anything I said... ok, I have an accent, english is not my first language and all, but I don't have any problem being understood by people nor by the other reps >_>), was told several times that they couldn't reach the supervisor and I had to call again. Last one I got was very nice and helpful and resetted the password immediately; also gave me info about what to do if my character happened to be server shifted/got name changed/lost items.

I got my notarize Letter and it ask on it, if you ever sold, trade or let someone else your account.
I let a friend use my account before it got taken away, so what am i suppose to say ?

If you're over 18, yes. And that "something big" happens to be perjury.

A notarized document confirming your identiy is a sworn statement carrying the penalty of perjury. The notary is a member of the court (technically) and has the authority to do this.
