Try that out. I think that and the elemental magic of the current day is the only solid basis to start with.
    Can see it now:

    AV uses Chainspell.
    Cue 20 2hrs going off.
    AV uses Meteor regardless.
    Everyone dies.

Having a plan is always nice. If you want to see if 2hrs even do anything, I'd suggest having as many people as you can 2hr on his first 2hr. It'd be a waste yeah but it'd help you know that something is happening. After that point you could do weird stuff, like 2hr according to some plan (the jobs the aerns pop as, or maybe the 3 job combos the dynamis attestation NMs have, for shits n giggles).

Appreciate that you guys were anxious to be the first to try it, though

edit: like i said, didn't have a blm in alliance for when it did manafont, etc. for whatever reason, i was gonna chainspell when it did but it didn't, gonna redo parties and see what we can do <_< lol
My guess would be get anything that you don't want it to be using in the alliance.

One each of BLM RDM WHM DRK MNK at the least would probably help.

at any rate, in the time its taken me to post this, im sure there've been 2 more pages added to the thread, just throwing it out there...

edit: ok, so the MDB and shellV might've helped with meteor >.<
No, that's entirely bullshit, because gear isn't situational in this game. Aegis/Haut/Valor are by far the best combination of gear for a PLD, at all times, regardless of the situation. Geeez now that we have that settled.

As you can see AV used Manafront. No one used 2hours after... then comet and meteor. So they didnt get to test it. (my filters are off.)

Pretty sure he was being severely sarcastic. To answer your question, you cannot block when incapacitated (slept, stunned, petrified, or terrored).

Just manafront from what I can tell, if he did use chainspell it was a while ago and much before the comet/meteor.
