Yeah just caught onto this thread... Sorry if someone else brought this up may have just been a glitch but did anyone else notice in the video when AV CS'd that AerogaIV completely missed a BLM and 2 WHM that were in range and should have been hit?

When I first saw the video I was like "Hmmmm this could work but seems kinda iffy, theres gotta be something more advanced to it" .... then all those crackpot theorys started like "When you 2hr after he does you get yours back!" (which, btw, I'm so fucking glad turned out to be not true because people in my LS were driving me insane saying that). But after all is said in done, it looks like I was right when I said the video was going to be the cause of a lot of lost xp.

Ok so I've never actually fought AV and i only got to about page 5 and then just read the past 2 pages. But here's what I would think. So we know that using the same 2hr as him didn't stop it from doing it's thing, but yet in the video everyone is popping a lot of theirs. Which I can see why that would lead people to think maybe it's a pair system.

Now like I said about not having fought him before, and it's just something I saw someone say in one post, does he do multiple 2 hours consecutively? If he does, or even if he doesn't maybe what you're trying to do to is use the next 2hr on his list.

If I recall right, there never was a word from SE that 2HRs could be locked. Maybe what SE did just makes the 2HR effect on AV wear off? Like... when AV uses Manafont he normally has 30 sec, if a BLM uses Manafont in this 30 sec AVs Manafont just wears off?

We did soul voice when AV used it and he still charmed people after. Also killing aerns proved to be quite useless.

I can't imagine how many people SE would expect you to have there, especially when they originally said it could be done with 18? For that to work, you'd have to have a decent mixture of each job you want to lock, with PLENTY of back ups for each of those. Sounds pretty ridiculous and would require you to pretty much be able to kill AV in about an hour without needing 60+ people. lol

And I think that was proved wrong with the Chainspell speculation earlier in this thread, something about AV used it, the member used it, but AV was still casting at Chainspell speed. I don't remember that was like 3 hours ago and 15 pages back. /shrug.
