Can we get a summary for those of us just getting home from work please?

Probably could be best summarized right now as we're all speculating on the connection between player two-hours and AV two-hours. Most of us are sitting here discussing and speculating, a few are actually fighting and testing while we wait to hear their results.

They started to stop AV regen the way they fought JOL
They stopped the rest of the regen by nuking AV with the weather.. they all casted blizzard 1-4 on iceday and once lightningsday came they all starte to spam thunder 1-4.. I think the baraero zoom in was just to throw people off.

Really though, stop discrediting the Match AV's 2hr/Use the nasty 2hrs you want to avoid theories, as they have not been fully tested, and being a big thing in the video, should not be overlooked until disproven.

siknoz is right too many people are over speculating things and coming up with rediculous theories. given two weeks or so to test various things shown in the video people may come up with something. rediculous ideas like him 2hring resets ur 2hr should have been dismissed right away.

Is 5 min. real or a guess? I timed his delay between 2Hs once, over the course of about a half-dozen 2Hs and it was 90sec~2min if I recall. Is it possible you missed one in between Call Wyvern and Meikyo Suishi as well?

Few things, that i havn't seen mentioned in last 8 pages. They were using rdm/nins to tank to help split the aeroga dmg. Can take very little dmg as rdm/nin from ga's when split like that. Which in turn is less dmg to heal on the pld/nins.

And in the unlucky event that a pld does indeed go down, you still have 3 viable tanks on AV. I would imagine their tank pt might of consisted of pld, pld, rdm, brd, whm, whm, with the 2 rdm/nins in a second pt. Rdm/nin is an easier job to support as an off tank then as a main tank. You could in theory further push the aga dmg down by adding to rdm/nins in melee range.

I believe in the past a long long time ago, when people were first testing AV, trying to figure him out, someone noticed he did 2hr's in groups of 3?? I might be remembering wrong.

I don't believe you can lock his 2hr's, but stop him from doing the second and third of the sets by using 2hr's.

Yeah, we had a lvl1 mule keeping AV up while we unweakened.

Not sure - most likely someone outside the alliance threw in cures.

<< Apathy guy here, here's the breakdown:

We got AV pop, 18 people in alliance with 2hrs up. 2 people couldn't follow instructions and used 2hrs before AV used his. We kicked them from alliance and replaced with other members. When AV used Call Wyvern, all 18 people used their 2hrs. We were also nuking before and after 2hrs with Bio, Bio II, Drain, and Drain II. More 2hrs continued, and eventual death. Reforming now.
