The AV Videos: READ THE -OP- AND THREAD BEFORE POSTING!

I have video of the AV pop on Ramuh, I'll upload it someplace after I compress it a bit more, since it's several gigs in raw format. For the record, they wiped pretty early.

Is 5 min. real or a guess? I timed his delay between 2Hs once, over the course of about a half-dozen 2Hs and it was 90sec~2min if I recall. Is it possible you missed one in between Call Wyvern and Meikyo Suishi as well?

cant say im completly sure it was 5min, didnt time it but going from looking at he clock.

checked the log about 20 times and nothing between Call Wyvern and Meikyo besides a couple of Impact streams and other TP moves.

When he did call Wyvern, was one of the 2hours they used call Wyvern? Was Call Wyvern the first 2hour he used, or the second in a sequence?

as long as i can tell from log there was no call wyvern.

well at least some servers have AV up now..

if the LS that pop him give up, then perhaps other LS can move in to try testing (since they would have 2HRs available) until some progress is made. This way more people can test out on AV and hopefully figure him out with regard to his 'weakness' shown in the videos..

Can someone just make a topic that says "AV IS DEAD" so I don't have to read through pages of what can only be referred to as lemmings typing up strats while falling off of cliffs. I've been keeping up with 31 pages, its just sad that the people who are actually fighting AV can't do the same.

Probably won't work but try using a 2H with a macro that is on its cooldown right when he uses one (try it when the one he uses has a duration like Chainspell or Meikyo, not an instant 2H like Call Wyvern or EES).

My last assumption to be made based solely off the video is that the first 2hour used is manafont every time, and then somewhere in between the all the 2hours its matched some place. Even at the end of the video at least the EN one, he does two hour once again. I think its probably luck based that you hit have all your manafonts, benedictions, Chainspells locked, and match his 2hour and deal with whatever 2hours aren't locked.

I noticed that AV spams tp moves when being meleed or hit with a off day element nuke, could it be that nukes of the element that match the day dont give TP to AV?

Also, not that it matters or anyone noticed, but for the entire video, the aerns are being held at least 40 distance of the camp they killed him at. The aerns where he pops. Someone debunk if keeping them away has anything to do with it with previous experiences fighting him.

when earlier i stated to use accomplic/flee, i meant that you would have to do it well b4 meteor is even shown as being casted, as in there is a pattern to his move at some point that will allow you to know when he does what. perhaps the vana'diel clock SE elluded to wasn't so much for the day they were on, but more for the the timing at which they did things.

So maybe meteor is used at certain clock hours. Maybe not. Maybe SE needs to stop being lil women about their precious AV and show an actual USEFUL video and not just "lool look at what we did, but u dont know what we did, you'll never figure out what it is we did"

Why does the AV has the animated ring (1 year patch ago) around his arms at the last part of the video when he die?
Make me wonder if SE did even killed AV or just used an old video file of when they killed it and stick it in with this video.

and why half of the video is about killing JoL if this is a how to kill AV video? Are they just trying to make the video longer?
