He's "afraid" and if he scan any 2hrs up, he cast/do everything he can to defeat his opponents. As long as he trigger a 2hr and you use yours, he stop doing what he was doing and calm down cause there's nothing that can kill him.

Av might only be able to use the 2hr (and ability) of ppl in the alliance/on his hate list, this might explain why ppl are just randomly burning their 2hr after av do. If no blms in the alliance got his 2hr up, av won't be able to manafont anymore. ?

Do they actually have 2 alliance fighting? one with tanks rdms and blms and the other whit healers and refreshers !

Spell casted on av corresponding to the day actually affect its regen, what about buffs? i mean, casting barspell corresponding to the opposite day might have some effect too. ?

I REALLY do feel like it's imperative to pull AV as soon as it spawns from JoL. They did it in the video, and it seems like it would be plausible that if you did something to JoL to lessen AV's Regen, or strength, then it would only apply until AV went passive after killing everyone or being sacked.

Think about TH. If you stick TH on a mob, it stays on that mob until it dies OR goes passive. Once it goes passive, the memory is erased. What if part of the reason why AV obliterates everyone so fast is because everyone always sacks it to death to rebuild the alliance and change jobs, making it passive after JoL goes down?

I'm talking out of my ass here, but I've had this theory for a long time about why it might be harder to lock him down.

Sorry if I'm reposting this from the Demo's AV Attempt #3 topic, but it seemed pretty valid enough to put in here. As this is where all of the drama is, hence the majority of us are hanging around this topic. This is in regards to the video that was posted up by Demo's LS, not SE's AV video.

...also, not sure how noone has noticed this yet, but look at 1:30. SAM uses Tachi:Gekko, the second after he uses that, dum dum dum, look what AV retaliates with. EES. Only time he uses EES, and first time a WS is used on him. There's a flat blade later on (don't ask) but that was during CS, so probably not a point where he could retaliate with EES. There's another Flat Blade @7:12 by Seksivega also, which is immediately retaliated with SAM 2 hour by AV. Possibly a relation? Short of the Chainspell, those are the only two offensive 2 hours used by AV in the whole fight, both of which had an offensive WS used on him first. Only 2 WSes used on him, only EES and SAM 2hour used. Hard to tell with the chainspell, since thats more of a magical ability, perhaps he used it in retaliation to some magic spell/related ability that was filtered. Hard to believe since he was being pelted with magic the whole time.

P.S. The first Invincible was used right after a Thunder shot by a COR, but probably just coincidence as he uses it multiple times later in the fight seemingly without any type of ability to do it in reaction to.

All coincidence's? Possibly, but I'm starting to lean towards not likely.

For those just F5'ing this thread and haven't seen it already, several of us (psnsonixx, LockeCole, myself, possibly others) have noticed/mentioned that in the videos, nobody at any point uses any Weapon Skills or Job Abilities (voke included) as long as AV does not have his red bracelets on. Seriously, has anybody tried making damn sure nobody JA's or WS's on him? Keep in mind that most 2hr's are technically buffs and not used directly on the mob, with the exception of EES and Mijin.

I am truly shocked at the amount of people who have totally disregarded everything we tested while fighting and keep throwing out ideas. Why don't you guys keep the god damn ideas to yourself and go lose some exp and test it out on AV yourself before posting it ok? I'm going to get 75 back now, peace.
