Why would the party/alliance who was outside knocking down JoL summons be using Two Hours if they shouldn't have any hate on AV?

That's a pretty big assumption since you can't even see the alliance configuration.
The BLMs might be in the alliance fighting JoL as well.

What's More
The Two Hours that the people are spamming all seem to be Arcane Taps.
The Arcane Taps are Astral Flow, Chainspell, Manafont and Azure Lore (possibly Tabula Rasa as well).

I've looked through the video several times, and seen several instances where all three of the FFXI + RoZ job Arcane Taps were used. Possible lock to Meteor found?

Referring to a post of mine a few pages back; more people are going on about the other theory of not using any JAs whatsoever currently however, as this one isn't much worth discussing until things are tested.

Theory: Any 2 hr used after AV uses a 2hr cannot be used when AV 2hrs next.

If these are the case, esp the first, then it will require planning a pre-set order for BLMs to Manafont. I'd say hold off on most everything else and just eat damage from Chainspells, etc.

After 5 BLMs Manafont, throw them in a party with an LS mule COR and try to reset Manafont while other BLMs are up in the order.

Meteor is only accessible under Manafont from patterns we've seen to date.

SMNs stand around and only help cure etc (so they do indeed have AV hate) because using avatars requires Pet/Job Abilities. And BLMs are nuking AV, probably throughout the fight, though they only show the log of it the one time.

Nah, as Jeryhn said, gotta have an avatar out to use Astral Flow. Carby's the only one you can keep out for free regardless of day/weather.

It's pretty simple math.
Aside from the 6 or 7 players surrounding AV and getting hit by Aerogas and Explosive Impulse (There are more than this, you can clearly see a couple WHMs standing near AV not getting hit by either attack, so they must not have hate), there's about 17 or 18 other people (most of them Tarus) standing on the backlines and all of them can be seen using their Two Hour at some point in the video.

Assuming you have two more parties containing one RDM, one BRD and 4 BLMs each, you've still got extra people using Two Hours, including a few WHMs and RDMs. Then there's still the matter of the SMNs which are seemingly doing nothing besides using Astral Flow.

Ok, how much delay is there between Manafont going off and Meteor being cast?

Is there enough to pop a Manafont and perhaps knock him out of that 2hr, as in the Kclub zerg attempt where he was mid Hundred Fists, and using Blood Weapon made him revert to non-Hundred Fist behaviour.

Edit: I know a lot of people Q_Q about stuff being uploaded to Stage6, so if necessary I can put it somewhere else. I doubt Youtube's resolution will be high enough to read the chatlog, but veoh or dailymotion should do. I can upload to either, w/e.

To be fair, any 2hr could've taken him out of Hundred Fists mode. The BRDs were first to 2hr, but AV didn't have TP do any TP moves. I can't remember how fast he was punching, wasn't focusing on it.

In fact, mine is rather out of order since the french/german Astral Flow is not the same as the japanese Astral Flow. It occurs at a different time, as well as one less corpse on the field.

Bloodstone will be Killing JoL at 8est today, if AV pops we may try a no JA/WS theory just for fun, but doubt we will actually get a kill in, just test new theories.

Nonetheless, it's an interesting and handy observation, something to attempt to repeat, as it could explain a good portion of the video.

Try getting all the original and RotZ jobs in the alli and fire off ALL of the 2 hrs when AV does, so we can put a lid on the 2hr theory.
