Let me clarify my statement as it does sound fairly final and definitive.

The "elimination" test of two-hours would be subject to the same flaws as this one, it could be any combination or lack thereof to cause or inhibit the two-hours. If we truly want definitive results, we can now go back and test another way (if the surround area theory can be laid to rest). The most definitive results would be to fight Absolute Virtue and when he two-hours, use Chainspell, Manafont and Invincible, every time. Repeat for Absolute Virtue using 120 two-hours. If, in that duration, Chainspell, Manafont and Invincible were not the next used two-hour, this would be definitive. Is this test possible? Yes. Is it plausible? No. I believe we would be more productive taking this preliminary result and testing theories that only have speculation and observations at this point. The outcome of that testing would yield results that allow for more accurate testing for the effect of two-hours used after Absolute Virtue.

We cannot yet discount the 2 hr theory, otherwise there was absolutely no fucking point for the devs to have no JA timer recasts so they could spam 2hrs every time AV used one in what seems to have absolutely no other pattern.

One test does not make an absolute. Results have to be repeated, and other tests to correlate. Why do you think Kaeko has a lockdown on the enmity info from being posted separately outside his blog right now? There are results that we've gotten that haven't been repeated yet and we ourselves have had to retract findings because repeats of our own tests have provided different results.

I still think this has some relevance, i still havent seen someone pop Manafont after AV 2houred and then AV used Manafont right after that, he seems to have reactionary 2hours and normal 2hours - reactions can be prevented, mainly Benediction and Manafont are the only 2hours preventing this fight from being winnable at all and the devs have shown time and time again your gonna just have to deal with the other 2hours and the wyvnavs by kiting/preparing (the zoom in on the baraero was a hint that you'll have to deal with his aeroga 4 no matter what?)

When people used to take AV down below 80% was that 'instawipe manafont' scripted as in 'Absolute Virtue readies Manafont'? or was it just something that just happened to a certain group of people and caught on? The Chevnik reaction thing got me thinking that perhaps after a certain amount of HP and 'counter-2hours' that eventually he uses it one last time then it goes outta his rotation. (AV readies Manafont, Meteor @79% -> Manafonts outta the loop rest of the fight) Still leaving his standard melee 2hours for the rest of the fight and chainspell to deal with (he chainspell casts naturally so thats moot) and then perhaps he 'readies' Benediction once then again due to the 'counter-2hours' he doesnt off-the-wall do it again for the rest of the fight.

He 2hours the entire battle with him but at one point hes got to stop using Manafont/Benediction one way or another. (Chevnik-style, use one last time after a trigger HP amount then its out) Since no ones gotten him below his threshold HP-amount we're just dealing with the Quick-Draw Manafonts and not the one Manafont that actually matters (where due to your 2hours he locks it out completely after using it one last time in 'readies' mode)

Just a thought.

maybe the reason the dev's popped a 2 hr after AV was to re-establish their hate? seeing as how he can spam 2 hr and/or meteor or w/e.

The reason why I haven't posted any more videos is because not a single LS since DarkHearts on Ramuh has attempted to fight Love. Coming up with theories is one thing, bouncing the same theories off each other is not going to prove nor disprove any of them. i figured as much. the only reason it stood out was because i really didnt think the dev team would mess up something like that. therefore it seemed as though something happened which allowed the blm to be able to cast that spell.

I think the big problem here is that every shell that wants to try things also wants a huge chance to WIN, and I just am not sure that's possible.. or at least very plausible, unless these theories are somehow amazingly 100% accurate and controls are 100% in play from the get-go. But I somehow doubt it. It would be nice, but there is probably certainly some adjustments to be made.

The things is, people have to be willing to say 'ok, let's just test this to see and give some results, and we will probably die.'

So... someone tests the 13-14/15 job 2H thing, which blows a lot of 2hrs which will probably mean being unable to prevent Manafont the entire fight if the theory holds true, which would = Meteor and death.

And someone tries it.. maybe after letting AV go yellow first to see if the 'claim immediately' thing is indeed a factor or not.

And then... ok, so if things pan out a bit.. so then we start.. ok, nuke wrong element. Do a non-elemental WS. Try defensive JAs only (Convert, Rampart, Divine Seal, Ele Seal if not nuking, etc).

Then as things get further figured out, someone will need to try other things... do we HAVE to kill the Aerns? CAN we move AV? etc.

But it means people are going to have to be willing to not win this fight, or even get very far to get preliminary results.

We may be able to do a couple test round fights ourselves, but it will take a week or so to get the planning out so we have everyone sign on for it. And then to convince the JPs to try our theories, esp since Elmer said they have entirely different theories forming across the Pacific.

Speaking of, elmer, would love to hear what they're thinking. Though from what I hear, the JP shells that have tried so far haven't done so well either, so who knows.

But nevertheless, two questions come to mind. Does AV aggro Job Abilities? Has someone tried being within sound range of an unaggroed AV and using some JA's like Meditate or some self-target-only JA's? I doubt he does.

oh no one answered you, the answer is no he doesnt agro at all. I Elemental seal'd Burst II on him for screenshot purposes with obis on and such and he didnt agro me til the burst hit him in the face.

But, it was purplesday when i did it, he had wynavs out, and he didnt 2 hour right away. Doesnt prove anything, but doesnt disprove the same element stuff at least
