this exact same thing happened when i posted a thread on allakhazam a long time ago about how to hq a tier 0 synth easily.. everyone flamed me saying i was full of it. so i got a leathercrafter from another server to get me a worldpass and i created a mule on their server. a week later, not only did he make his first tier 0 hq (panther mask +1), he made his second (panther +1 again, same day less than 10 synths later). i am good at what i do, its as simple as that. no more explaining myself. believe the truth or not, it cant change it. ^.^

Well for staters, always synth in the direction strong to the crystal youre using....

Oh and never craft on any moons besides 0% and 100%

or better yet, never follow supersticions and formulate your own hypothesis based on your own data collected from your individual tests. follow patterns that are apparent over time (neglecting the moon phases entirely) and synth when you feel is best. However, always test the results of hq on any given day (irl) for hq on something that you should hq a certain number of on any decent day. If results are good, then go for more expensive stuff according to your own data. If the results are bad, then there is no point in losing money doing more difficult synths when chances are the results will be the same as the test synths.

or you could always follow the supersticions of crafting and click and pray for a hq.

My tier 0s have a higher hq percent than my tier 1s by a large margin.. why? who knows.. i do more tier 1s. ooh! amazing! i get lucky. shit happens, but there's no reason to make fun or to call someone a dumbass because of something completely meaningless. FFXI is a game, crafting is fun. I do not lie to complete strangers.. there is no point. Friends and enemies alike can confirm anything i say. You speak english. If you either a) speak english or b) speak english well enough to type on a forum in it, that means that you did not just suddenly wander to BG after 4 years with your 18 dusk gloves +1.

It also means, that statistically, unless EVERY person you've sold your gloves to has been JP, at least 2 people registered on BG forum should have them (by frequency of synth and number of players / server who post on BG and have +1 gloves) - Given that nobody can attest to any of your HQ fancies, you've somehow managed to unload some of the rarest and most expensive HQs in game, through complete and total anonymity.

Now I'm not sure if you're under the delusion that such anonymity exists in this game, or if you're just a shit-sucking attention whore who is sitting there with his hand in his pants over the attention we're giving him, and honestly, I don't care. Tekki made 6? Dusk gloves +1, and funded >2< relics off of it, you claim to have done this, and surpassed him 3fold, and then include the penance robes and other synths, where are your relics?

Hm? Which arsenal of relic weapons do you have locked away for safe keeping? Which barrage of -1 abjurations are you just waiting to buy from HNM LS?

for the sake of not hijacking a thread, i am responding in pm.
for starters, there are 6 people that i made dusk gloves +1 for that spoke english, or sold them to that i know spoke english. those being Vax, Boutsen, Eiffel, Sofaking, Mads, and Glowingworn. Multiple times i synthed for people who sent me tells out of the blue. Freemason has a pair that i made for someone in his ls. I forget their name since i really didnt know them. It was a 1/1 attempt also. Eiffel was a 1/6, Sofaking 1/1, Boutsen bought a pair i had in 2004. Ahyahyahya (jp) bought 3 pairs from me for his ls. Cuore bought one.. The rest were people i dont remember their names or they sold in bazaar while i was away.

The fact that they dont speak here is probably why i showed up to this forum a few weeks ago.. Ive never heard of it until Tharen (a long time crafting friend from siren) told me about it and said that someone mentioned my original character, Quizatsa, on it. That was the first time i showed up here. Also, the reson most of the people ive made those for, or seem anonymous dont reply here is the fact that either they dont know about this forum, or simply no longer play. The last pair of dusk gloves +1 i made on Quizatsa was for Eiffel (mule.. dont know his main) in august 2006. I left the game for over a year after that! Over half of the people i knew back then quit.
As far as the penance robes go.. ive tried to keep track of them. The only 4 i know still are on the person i sold/gave them to are my first 2 (in a row) on Kano and Oimopc (both japanese). Two more are on Jimmayus and Glowingworn to whom i gave them because i was leaving the game.

now for relics and hnm ls's.. Every person plays the game differently. That part of the game i dislike. It took me 3 years to get 1 character to lvl 75 because i liked to craft and not to level. Not that i couldnt afford to outright buy several relics, its just that i had no reason to do so. I did however have over 2.25 billion gil on hand that most of was given away when i quit. There are several people who i gave tens to hundreds of millions of gil to who could attest to that. End game stuff didnt interest me. I was known for crafting, and that was all. Read a post Raineer wrote.. he basically said "i only ever saw you crafting". which pretty much sums up exactly why i didnt exp or do end game/hnms ls's. Since i left my main and he went to seraph with a friend, he took the remaining gil on him and got a Bravura. This was after i quit. My main now (Luciola originally siren, now garuda) is level 39... highest job. leather 100+3 cloth gold smithing 60 working on alchemy this week at 34.. Its all in how you like to play the game. ^.^

Only relation i had with him is he crafted my marid leathers for my usu shoes. Sent him a tell, he answered kindly and all gone well, he even made me not paid a "tax", and used crystals and windurst tea thingy of his own. (yeah i know it's cheap but he had no reason to do it).

I sure dont know the HQ percentage he did during his whole FF life and maybe he's BSing, but there is 2 things everybody know about him on Siren:
He's like lvl 2 and craft more than he kill mobs.
Every HQ you can make in leathercraft, there is one with [Quizatsa] in a corner, wandering on the server.

And yeah, many peoples dont like him (and i may even get slapped behind the head by friends to take his "defense" ), that's a fact. But he knows his craft stuff.

Ho, not in execution, more in the mean of living with/for the craft. That's why i said i dont know at all if he have that much success he claim, just saying he's doing kinda only that and was a well known name in the crafting scene, with many HQ getting his sign.


And yeah 3/4 pick+1 is kinda crazy

I've known Quiz/Luciola since siren and now play with him on Garuda. Quiz was known by everyone on Siren for what he has crafted. He has no reason to lie about what he has done. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Who else would give away 100's upon 100's of millions of gil to people, some he knew and some he didn't.
