The soap fee in limbus doesn't count because you get enough coins to turn a profit from it unless your coin prices on whatever server you're in are complete shit.
The cost of food,nin tools you would be using on something else anyway, easily craftable meds, and stuff you can get from a hi pot tank drop during assault are the only expenses in limbus. All of those expenses are paltry vs the cost of either a. leveling leathercraft to 100 in order to make a +1 dusk or b. paying the giant fee most crafters will charge you for when they eventually do HQ.

A lot of people tend to save their coins and if its a friend or someone in your ls, its not too hard to get something crafted for free, but either way, that wasn't the point at all. The point isn't about the cost of each item, its about one's performance vs the other's, which isn't going to be nearly as much of a gap as it was being made out to be.

I'm not trying to say in any way shape or form that they are worth buying. In my eyes, fuck no. If you have homam or access to it, why waste your gil, but I do recognize the fact that the two items will parse near identical and that there is no huge difference in how you will perform. My solo/duo behemoth thing was if you wanted to take it to the extreme, but not anywhere near my keypoint.
