The storylines for the episodic quests introduced in the Wings of the Goddess expansion pack will continue in the much-awaited version update scheduled for early March. Here are just brief previews to whet your appetite:

Also, who says it's a single extra mission per nation? You don't expect them to outline the entire plot and scope of the story additions, do you? The Cait Sith plot will likely have its own update note slot as well.

I'm liking where they are going with WotG's plot, but I don't like how long it looks like it's going to take us to get there.

Unless they say something about opening up the Northlands in one of these announcements, I'm going to be very disappointed(actually I won't, because I don't expect it).

Part of it all will at least be quests. That's how SE said they were providing storylines for the different nations in this expansion. The overarching Cait Sith/Atomos plot is our set of missions. If anything, making the nation plots as quests allows them to put more plot content in for those who wish to see things from all angles while allowing the more casual player to only run through a single plotline.

They said that they were opening new areas, so my money is definitely on Oztroja/Davoi/Beadeaux, and probably Glacier/Xarcabard as well.

This teaser happens every update so why is anyone surprised. Glad to see it get out of the way and give us 4 potential goodie teasers before the update itself

Either there's very little content that's worth mentioning, or they are going to release dozens of teasers up until the version update's release.

Well, they already released the info about storyline, new areas, new job af, and Campaign. Based on previous updates, we now are ready to hear about potential job adjustments, new 'system's (Limbus, Salvage), new merits, and what I realllllly think is being saved for this update, new Avatars

I go into updates with a pretty hefty sense of optimism and what I like to think is realistic expectation. But even I have to say "Avatars? In my update? It's not as likely as you think"

I'm expecting some sort of unfinished ToAU business... maybe just the Nyzul Relics, but something along the vein of Divine Might / Apoc Nigh / Baha v2 would be pretty sweet.

One can never have too many situationally different earring options to choose from!

well... im excited at least. I like being able to see all the nations storylines through the quests and have the atamos missions. Bastoks story seems less interesting then sandy and windy tho ._. its basically the rank missions again atm xD

Just being optimistic because it never hurts to hope. Of course, you can't be crushed if it doesn't happen.

Am I the one that does not really give a fuck about updates and accepts that, as long as SE "listens" extremely slow to the player base, we will get stuff in half baked form?
