wow.. I love the lame ass feed back from my post... its a really good idea... clearly SE isn’t telling us hey.. soon as AV pops a 2 hour everyone else pop threes... they use there 2 hours after AV in a random order... only thing that’s the same is the 2 hour at the end that matches AVs.... why don’t u people watch the video closely and try to find new info.. instead of waiting for people to toss out an idea so u can talk shit on it... whereas your bright ass ideas at? can all u do is flame other peoples good ideas?....

Or the fact that a) you didn't read the thread, or the previous 55 page thread, in which case you'd know this was mentioned at least 4 times, and b) you didn't watch the four videos THAT closely because I believe it was only two clips that corresponded to this properly; other 2 hr spams end with something other than what AV uses. I noticed this too and was even IMing people saying "I think I see something," but after checking every other clip it did not hold.

I only popped in to ask if anyone has done the 13-14 2hr elimination test yet, seeing if you use everything but EES and Mijin when he 2hrs, if he then is forced to only use EES or Mijin (hopefully EES because Wynavs would hopefully not be up). It seems we had a massive lack of AV pops this weekend, however. :/

I dunno, the theories and speculations are getting crazier, and it still doesn't seem this has been particularly debunked or confirmed. The 15 job one was done I know, but something about Spirit Surge - and also I theorized that that would cancel itself out anyway. Then there was one that sounded close except the person said he used Soul Voice some good time later after AV 2hr'd, and then AV used SV...

I just don't see how people can be throwing this idea away completely. The damn Devs are not spamming 2hrs for their health. ._.

It appears some progress was made on the 'retaliation' ideas, that just needs obvious honing which is hard to do when you're.. dying.

ok... idk if anyone else has noticed this.. not going to read threw 24 pages of ideas...anyways if you watch the english video.. when AV pops Soul Voice you see the 2 hour spam of the alliance and at the very end if you will notice a BRD pops Soul Voice matching AV's 2 hour... then same thing happens on Chainspell... AV pops it.. alliance pops 2 hours.. then a RDM uses Chailspell to match AVs... i dont really think we can lock AVs 2 hours.. but this might be the method to getting our 2 hours refreshed...

Because after two threads of repeated nonsense, people still don't seem to get it. We're trying to compile a list, a serious list of things that have been tried and either worked or failed. People however, seem to no understand the fact that if they keep spatting out useless theories and overloading everyone with information, things wont be tested. Secondly with all this shit being thrown around, the serious theories drawn from the video's of my linkshell and whoever else get drowned in this sea of bullshit.

hesitant to even comment, I've been reading the threads pretty thoroughly til it all turned into a giant shit-throwing contest of "here's my idea" followed by 5 posts of "didn't you read the last 1000 pages of recycled ideas?!"

anyhow, after watching the video 3 times, I often wonder why the topic of all the frontline people using 2handed weapons seems to not be making ANY of the damn lists of "suggested strategies". the few posts i saw of people who actually noticed this/brought this up seemed to get burned into the ground immediately. like I probably will be, but honestly don't give a shit.

Thank you for coming back Ashira. THIS is what needs to be testing, and I'm a little annoyed that the "reactionary" and Aern stuff has distracted from it.

I was thinking about the test where all 15 jobs 2-houred to meet AV's 2-hour... if matching a 2-hour with our own only reduces the chance of that 2-hour by a %, then all 15 jobs 2-hour-ing would cancel itself out and have no effect.

I also agree with Elipse in that kiting with RDM's is another good idea to come out of this thread, and shouldn't be ignored.

Because it's meaningless. The DD were using 2-handed weapons because that's what they use. The rest were using earth staves to reduce damage. You are ignoring the obvious message of the video and looking for "secret hints," which almost certainly don't exist as SE is not that clever. Stop trying to be a hero.

Creating a creature with an obscure solution is not cleverness. Okay, maybe they're a little clever... (it's a cool game and all) let me put it another way. Creating a video in which the obvious solution is a red herring, while the real solution is some minor detail of the video that is not obvious, would be a sneaky, devious, almost sadistic thing to do. This is not SE's style.

The video should be taken at face value. FACE VALUE.
