THF ws head piece

I've been working on my THF a lot lately, and aside from the Heca vs Dragon for body, I wanna see what other THFs without Heca as an option are using.

Obviously Hecatomb Cap and even Assassin's Bonnet are viable pieces, but what would you use if you can't get your hands on either? I've asked around and most THFs give me the "just get a Dragon Cap" speech, and I've even seen THFs Dancing Edge in Panther Masks. Any ideas?

O hat for ACC build.

Ohat or Voyager sallet if you dont have AF2 or Heca.

I'll probably replace the Assassin's Bonnet with a Skadi Visor (no Heca). I'd use O-Hat in a pure meat build to free up spots I can put more into, but I can't really support a meat build yet.

I use O hat + Harness .. if my acc is lacking I'll put heca on.

I do also agree with O-hat for a meat build, but I rarely get to go out as THF in a meat situation anymore.

emp. pin easy to get incomparable low dmg vs heca cap.
Panther mask+1 for Dancing edge. CHR modifier
Maats cap might be an option if you have all jobs 66.
Opo Opo Crown for CHR modifier.
Denali bonnet for tp build
Homam Zucheto for TP build.

Try and test these and see how your dmg goes!

What situation isn't a mean situation?

Well, for *me* a meat situation is anything other than a merit party on Mamools or Trolls. However, I almost exclusively merit on NIN now and I use cheap-kabobs for things like Limbus, Assault, Nyzul Isle, Salvage, etc, etc, etc when I get to go THF.
