They're 100% in the sense that one HQ currency is a 100% drop from Dynamis Lord. It's that 1% or whatever they didn't program in when the 100% drop set is an equal chance from a collection of possible drops, but it's effectively a guaranteed drop for all intents and purposes.

Correct except for the quote above. My group, as well as others, can verify that the weapon is not 100% drop on a non-reset disc. It's really really high, like probably 95%+ or something...but I had a Hydra that dropped absolutely nothing and in another thread someone even posted info about the boss dropping a hat and no weapon with it. Very strange and rare, but thought I'd mention it since the consensus is that weapons are 100% even though they are not.
Wait, weapons in Nyzul have a high drop rate? Out of the 3 times that my group did floor 100, we only got 1 weapon. >_>

Um...ouch lol. My group is about 11/12 or something, and most that I talk to haven't even gotten a no-drop. SE really disliked you

We've always had a weapon drop. Very strange.

Yes you can. Pick the two closest together and have the same person hit them both.

    Well said.

There is no "perfect" setup for Nyzule Isle. Each group is different and how well they do is dependent on skill, gear and luck. I personally don't like to risk getting a chariot floor and only have 1 mage. As for weapons being 100% drop. This is false, weapons are a high drop rate.

I'm curious what weapons ya'll have gotten?

Technically possible... but that's really freaking pushing your luck. You'd need have to get lucky and hope no 'bad' mobs were in the area of either (sight/truestuff), have them no more than 1 room over at worst, and manage to clear our things at lamps if needed as well as pick who'll do 2 and getting yourselves set up properly. That's a lot of "ifs" and possible time wasters.

This is generic strategy, not 'pray for the best and assume there's some magical way to save yourself'. This is not a reliable way to assume it will work, but it might. I stand by the fact that it's foolish to think you'll win all your tags as 4, though I suppose something like 5x Flayer or Frog NM would be a far bigger dealbreaker than the rarity of 5x same time lamps that are very spread out.

I'm going to start a new thread on this, because I'm confused as hell and we're so so far off anything related to the OP. After about 50 runs at 100, my group has never not gotten a weapon. Ever. Until reading these posts, I was unaware it was possible to not get one.

    New thread here.

I posted first in the other new thread about the weapon drops, but here's what I said:

We've done like 14 runs and lost 1 total so far. We've gotten PLD BST BRD BLM BLU SAM MNK WHM x2 DRK x2 WAR x2 weapons to drop thus far, and amongst us we have at least 1 person lv75 for all of those jobs except for DRK (highest was lv51 at the time).

yep, never zone in without one.
Do Clerics Drinks dispel petrification? Is it more akin to "Erase?"

It does erase + all -na spells. It does take off more than 1 effect, though I don't know if there's a max.
So yes, it does take off petrify
No idea if it takes off other stuff like terror, though.
