Now if these pics of Lindsay were taken when she looked like she did in Mean Girls, they'd be much better. The fake blonde hair, and reduction in weight though makes her slightly less appealing. God damn I hate the anything that moves argument so much, I feel like I've said it 100x in the fuck or duck threads. The whole if she was there asking for it etc etc thing is so redundant and unrealistic, it's not like I'm going to get home from work and Lindsay Lohan is going to be sprawled out on my couch when I walk in the front door. This is/was done by a well known photographer who was top of the game during the time when the shots these imitate (that he took of Marilyn Monroe) were taken. I think a big part of the reason they look so poor is that this shoot was done to intentionally look like the original shoot, which was back when there was a lack of good lighting technology and poor film quality. Also the fact that at the time this style and look of photography was what was "in" (that flat gray skin tone look was esp. popular during that time), though I believe this was more an effect rather than a cause. Remember color photography wasn't really even used outside of basic commercial stills back then as color quality was so poor.

Me personally, I feel she doesn't look good in these images, but then this style of shot really does not flatter her at all (que the slutty Terry Richardson shoot, where she looks hot as hell). As far as imitations go, these bear a good resemblance to the originals, but that doesn't make them any better. If you look up them up you will see Marilyn didn't really look too good in her shots either (at least by contemporary standards), but at the time people believed she did.
