We'd be more intrigued if there was perhaps a description or even a picture of said armor. Rather than an AF set, a Relic set, and a level 30 or so set.
"New armor" could mean "new Egg Helm" just as easily as well as it could mean AN-purchased Ebody and Dalmatica sidegrades or whatever.

I hope they have Enhancements on them too so you can rebuy them, perhapse some of the gear will have some "Only works in certian area" stats as well. Oh boy id love that.

I'm pretty sure the release of Relic Armors (or Nyzul Weapons) would be covered on a specific update notice, with sneak peeks and maybe some hints on how/where players will be able to get the new pieces, like mentioning dynamis or lolenjar.
this notice is just the standard plethora one they make almost every update

Odd, my 100 GAX is an amood-type... perhaps my pictures of it are all wrong.

Sure I guess it's theoretically possible, but that kind of doesn't make it an 'upgrade'.

On the other hand, that Amood looks like it could actually hurt stuff instead of just bop stuff on the head. Though if that's my relic, I'm going to cry.

I was gonna have more of an opinion on what I will now refer to as the "LOOK AT MAH DAGGER" update, but I flipped out over the doll festival > real info / update / news and Sonomaa almost b& me.

Needless to say, I, as I'm sure anyone else who doesn't consider crafting signed love chocolates = content, am pissed.

No, you're not crazy, that reference was completely out of left field and it just sort of hit me, and I remembered how much I hate love chocolates.

I saw the COR and got excited for half a second, thinking "Finally, they're adding AF+1". Of course...there's nothing that says every job must have AF+1, as ToAU jobs don't have a SJ-activated shield, level 70 JSE earring, or level 50 JSE ring (although in a weird smooshing together of these concepts, there are level 60 earrings that are activated by having a ToAU job as a SJ). But seriously, SE: I want to be able to re-quest my AF hat and leave it out of storage. Just add some more AGI to it or something and let's go.

(Although part of me doesn't want to see AF+1, because I'm terrified that they'd connect ToAU job AF+1 to Einherjar, or ??? items from Assault, or something equally vile.)

I quite agree about adding useless armor. It just clutters the game up by decreasing the signal to noise ratio. I can understand gear being situational, but there's some gear that you just wouldn't wear under any situation, because the alternatives are better and far easier to obtain. Why is that in here? I especially hate it when this gear is Ex, because it seems like something good could have been in its place instead. I do believe we've seen 4 Sigma Earrings go by, which is just super.

OK, let's design some JSE!

That was a good post. But we determined that the RMT would exploit the fishing skill set bonus so we changed it to "Set: Increases yield of pebbles while chocobo digging". And that the ranged attack and accuracy would make Monks throwing Astragalos too powerful, so we had to remove those stats as well. (But we kept the negative attack and accuracy though.)
