Allied notes?

So I walk into a campaign capped, because I only need notes and rank up anyway. So when the campaign ends, I got 0 xp which is natural since mines is capped, but also received 0 notes and I was like wtf. Also making me wonder if it counts towards my next rank up or not.

If your exp is capped you will earn limit points. Sounds more like you were in that campaign battle for less then one min.

No,; it was about 10 minutes and when I said capped, I meant
exp 43,999/44,000
merit points: 10/10 (Ran out of shit to put these into)
Limit points: 9,999/10,000
And someone who showed up at the last second and got about 4 hits and a couple cures in got about 200 notes

As I've already said, I've run out of things to put merits into. Only way I can make any further upgrades would be to remove something first or to level another job to 75. I guess I'll just have to go die a couple times before I do some campaigns.

A linkshell mate of mine had this same issue. He was capped xp, capped merits, and 10/10 merit points. To remedy the problem he simply removed merits from one category, re-meritted that category, and proceeded to join us for some meriting fun with 7/10 merits. (I think he removed a Scythe merit and put it back)

But you could do Campaigns on the new job while leveling it up so you could get Allied Notes.

I enjoyed leveling BLU quite a bit. NIN, DNC, and DRG are all good solo jobs, thusly they will do well in Campaign. DRG can do it with WHM sub, so that makes it a lot more cost effective than the rest. But in the end it all depends on what you like the most.

Has anyone noticed the same occur with Imperial Standing?

Only problem is that w/e i decide to lv, I'd only be able to merit its weapon to lv 4 (Provided i take off my 4 staff merits and keep my 8 h2h, 4 eva, 4 guard). And I'm not really sure I want to lv a mage or a tank. My mnk would never see the light of a ls event again.

As much as I hate to say it. Unmerit a stat then remerit it to clear away the points. Then again in about 40k exp i'll be in the same situation.

I'm sure DNC wouldn't have a huge problem subbing WHM for reraise; it's not like Utsusemi: Ichi alone is going to save you for very long anyway. I went as DNC/NIN to Campaign and didn't really bother to cast shadows on "trash" mobs, so that I could get hit more and cure it back (although as I have haste gear and Suppa, offhanding Joyeuse was nice for the TP, but I often found myself with way too much anyway). 66 is perfect since that's when Reraise kicks in. Also, there's a staggeringly low chance you'd be asked to take DNC to a raid over your MNK.

Edit: However...unless they release DNC tier 1 merits this patch, depending on how much you campaign, you could find yourself back in this same boat before the next version update.

I'd keep the staff merits, they make Claustrum that much more effective.

I know for a fact when I was capped out, meriting showed me no exp numbers, like a mob would die, I'd only see items. However, I still got Imperial Standing from it.

Not really sure about Besieged, I've been uncapped for over a year now so I can't test it sadly.

I was gonna say level a mage job since you'd get Job Specific Merits and all 16 Magic Merits to fill up. But if that'd kill your Mnk, there's only 1 choice:
