Wade was dieing from cancer he volunteered for the weapon x program. it worked and didnt work it granted him suer regenerative healing factor which cured his cancer but disfigured him the way septimus said and pretty much made him psychotic lol.

I thought Gavin Hood's "Rendition" was a bit too overblown with its sides of good vs. evil, so ...maybe he'll be perfect for a movie with people who are good or evil.

I'm not familiar with the DeadPool character at all, but just from the few comics frames in this thread, I can't imagine anyone better than Ryan Reynolds.

Ryan Reynolds is the perfect guy for Deadpool... just watch his performance in Blade: Trinity. The movie was terrible but his performance was really entertaining and he could be a believable comic action star.
