Oh snap, that would be proper usage of resources, and a proper writer that keeps track of his manga (sup Kuboo)

I got to 406 last night. I'd been waiting for it to get to a nice stopping point before I got caught up. I love this show I and hate the wait between episodes when the plot gets good. Based on what I read on the wiki it sounds like they are in the middle of the final arc of this chapter, can anyone give me an idea of how far through they are an about how many episodes remain till the end of this story line?
This next story line is broken into 3 arcs.
408-417 for the first arc
418-421 is the Friends whereabouts story line from the covers of the manga
422-452 is the second arc and is up to current
453-? more Friends whereabouts story line from the covers (starts this Sunday)
About Dragon being powerful, maybe so... But I think it's more probable that he's labeled the most dangerous man in the world because ofwhat he knows about the WG.
Sabo wants to become a pirate and has connections with the revolutionary army. Clearly he is kuma.
I may be wrong but Oda's has done that before(insert future characters in cover storys). Think when Garp was shown for the first time with the dog hat he was made to seem like some random marine guy.Oh snap, that would be proper usage of resources, and a proper writer that keeps track of his manga (sup Kuboo)
Pretty sure Dragon is going to be a bad guy. They kind of stress that pirates and rebels are not one group. So I am thinking Luffy just gets caught in the middle of it.
I don't know how they'd make Dragon a bad guy. He seems to be very much in-line with Luffy's morals, but I guess he might be more of a hardass in this arc or something. I think they'll just buff the World Government up and make the pirates not some big happy family (cause they're not, and respect for Whitebeard is pretty much the only reason that thing had existed). Luffy probably won't completely join the revolutions side, but I just don't see how he'd be an enemy.
Garp was in the cover story a long time ago, I think after the buggy story so.. around 100~ or so. I don't think Dragon is bad, and I think he's just being modest about what he can do.
I'm hoping he turns out to be a bad guy, makes for a much better story that way. Wouldn't be impossible he would just have to be overly extreme or forceful in his ideas, something like forcing out the WG from a happy kingdom turning it into a war zone, or his purpose just not as pure as it seems, wants to dig up the lost history (Pluto, Poseidon) though it'd be dangerous for everyone. With the lost history path it could turn our view of the WG in our eyes with them being the good guys that went too far to protect the lost history.
Garp was in the cover where Axe-hand Morgan got captured. Morgan gets seen chopping him in one cover and in the next it shows that the blood spilling from GArp was actually his coffee. He was in others somewhere too.
Kinda cliche, but I can see Dragon end up crossing a line on the opposite side of the spectrum from the World Government. Gets too ruthless and wants to wipe them out when they've already given up and then Luffy has to fight him to stop needless bloodshed. Or maybe he gets his hands on Pluton and needs to be stopped before he uses it.
I don't like the whole concept of Dragon being bad. I want Dragon to be just like Luffy and Garp, it'd be so odd if he was some evil calculating guy.
Now that I think about it. If you read Kenichi the way they have the family setup is you have Miu the granddaughter as the good little girl, her grandfather as the ultra badass good guy but Miu's father is supposedly a super evil dude. So it'd be the same setup there...
I'm ok with that though because that's how its setup. Dragon hasn't been setup to be evil, hated by the WG = good in my book. So yeah.
I'm guessing what happens in this flashback causes this meeting: http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/142/06/
The episode was meh. Only good part was
