From 294-365 you have Vegapunk, note they only host their softsub files from their site now, they have a few comments on where to find hardsubs.

365-382 it gets easier again with Nakama fansubs

382-452+ is Yibis they have a bit of a different style, in that they don't leave as many untranslated words as the previously listed groups, personally I don't care about such things as much, and yibis does good releases in a timely fashion.

note there is some overlap on some of the groups in what episode they have done, also post ~400ish range there is a few other groups of lesser quality, that retain some of the translation style that yibis doesn't.

For more official streaming can use onepieceofficial.com they have episodes up to 124 in sub or dub (if that is is your thing... but i wouldn't recommend it) and also the newest episodes, though IMO their video streaming quality is rather lacking, so i don't use it as much.

As for the art style, i found it took awhile to get used to the anime, but I loved the manga right away. In general the anime can get bog down in a few spots from slow pacing, since they use less filler then Bleach/Naruto, but still I personally spent two weeks during summer watching ~300 episodes non-stop when I first really got into the series, which for me was at Arlong park, which is just before the grand line. Before then i was largely apathetic but found it slightly funny since I was really bored at the time, now it is by far my favorite series.
